The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, Things Hidden from the Wise and Prudent and the Serpent

Genesis 3:15,22
Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever...

John 12:40 (Isaiah)
Joh 12:40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

Luke 10:19-21 (Mat 11:25)
Luk 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Luk 10:20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
Luk 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

Proverbs 9:10 (Prov 1:7, Psa 111:10, Job 28:28, etc.)

Where is the Boundaries of Christians and Non-Christians in a Church

Amos 5:15: Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the Lord God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

Many would imagine that this gate is the physical door of the church, causing the confusion of evangelization in the church. Therefore, some took the alternate road of denying such gate of judgment at all, causing troubles they admit not to be the cause of.

Therefore, when I argue with those on whether non-Christians should serve in the Church, I realized we differ in the understanding of this "gate".

The Book of Job VS the Rich

The book of Job should be read by the rich of this world. And not just those who face hardships.

Gay Marriages in Connecticut and Massechusetts

As the ban levied in California, CT and MA are enjoying this taste of fruit.

I have already despised the joy of Christians when the Prop 8 was passed last week. Because it is supposed to be a merciful warning rather than victory. Warning against not preaching hard enough, warning against treating marriages and sex so perversedly. Just like how many are still celebrating Obama's victory, which if it is a racial matter: has been too long overdue, instead of start working hard and helping this president practically in everyway possible.

Chrisitan youths in America are usually encouraged the freedom of making and breaking boyfriend/girlfriend as they please as long as they can make the sound "choose wisely" out of their mouths. As a result of this unbiblical act, you see divorces, gay marriages, hiring firing people at will, etc.

They should instead be educated to live with what you make.

Amos

As I recently read the Book of Amos, it reminded me of a lot of things seen today.

Amos 5
Such as the likes of some pastor, already warned in the old testament. Therefore I must watch myself, so that I do not get myself caught up in this snare.

Amos 6:5
comparing to today's Christian music especially in America.

My Prayer

Dear Lord, Thou cannot leave me, for if Thou do, I am nothing, not even a student of Thy Word.

Trust of Sinners

Why sinners are easier to come to listen to Jesus than to the churches today?

For one thing, Jesus' righteous testimony has certainly exceeded many Christians today not to mention pastors. We all want acceptance from someone we admire and honor, not from some hypocrites who secretly seek worldly praises.

So, it is crucial that we and all those who hold the offices of God diligently grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Malaysia's Future Prime Ministers Inspired by America's Black President

Since Obama's victory for president, many foreign countries especially non-caucasoid dominated ones have been cheering as if it has been waited for too long. Malaysia's Lim Kit Siang questioned a similiar outcome in Malaysia. No doubt, many Malay muslims will be provoked at even the dare of such question, however, it is definitely the kind of justice the so called "minorities" of Malaysia have been hoping for in their hearts.

I believe for the Americans, there have been countless battles of prejudice, racisms, etc. Great heroes can easily be named for evidence.

However, I would have to say it's rather early for Malaysia to head for such change, not to mention Muslim principles are held more seriously or extremely than Christians' in a general sense. However, recent news that challenges certain Muslim Fatwa regarding apostate matters in Malaysia may push the change.
