Extending Murphy's Law

Murphy's Law states that anything that could go wrong will go wrong in the worst possible way in reality.

From studying the Bible, God's law, I realized that if there's anything perceivable by mankind within the possible universe, it will happen if hadn't.

On Barack Obama's Faith

It would appear that there has been controversial topic on whether the 2008 American Presidential candidate Barack Obama is a muslim. Sources report that he goes to a Christian church while his paternal backgrounds are muslim.

It would be most unethical even to lie about this for a muslim, to not able to stand up for the muslim faith, which has used this kind of hypocrisy on christians throughout history for its rising movement.

As for whether or not Obama is a true Christian? I have yet to find any claim of his faith in this matter. Going to church or celebrating holidays pertaining to christianity or calling oneself a "christian" does not make one a christian. It is your faith in Christ Jesus' whole identity, what you do as His witness that define you as the Elect Children of God.

Ricoh Aficio MP3010 PCL 6 Fix

Finally, after ignoring the vendor's denial of the printer's problem when we've gotten garbled printing for pdf files, Ricoh has finally released an updated driver.

I'm a little impressed by Ricoh's responsibility in this matter.

There's usually little errors on my part. Whenever I've concluded it's the manufacturer's or the vendor's fault, it usually is. I just had to follow the only solutions they had in mind at that time such as install postscript driver, older driver, etc.

This fault by Ricoh's previous defected driver has cost NYGC lots of paper waste.

Seems that the latest version was out about two months ago, I thought I had given up on them. Just happened to come across it and noticed a note in their fix detail...which was exactly the problem I have been researching into...thinking that I was going crazy for being the only one looking for a @PJL JOB NAME problem.

Latest version: 3.1.0.0

...

2) Fixed
- A "@PJL JOB NAME" of more than 80 characters causes garbled printing.

...

Now the next NYGC networking enigma is the accessibility of certain https form sites that recently occurred. My guess is IP/ISP related issue.

Asking Favors

Those who love to ask for favors, regardless of their reason or motive, are themselves worthless. Therefore, their offer to help at anytime, is worthless also. Do not accept such offer, lest they never learn.[@more@]

Christian Authority in America

America is a one of the countries where Christianity has the least authority.

Look at her divorce rate, look at her debt, look at her mental problem rate, look at her occults rate, look at her adultery rate even within churches.

On Christian Love and Support

When we love we love because of the Truth.

When we support we support because God has predestined us for His ministry under His mercy.

We do not support the church because it needs our support. God does not need us. God does not need blind faith.

Know what is the truth first, before you love. If you love without knowing what truth is: why you love by God's standard, you are no more better than Satan.

If you know the Truth, then you will surely love. If you love not, then you know not the Truth.

If you support or serve unwillingly, then please don't serve or support. If you do insist, thinking that it's your responsibility as Christians even though  you do not wish to, then you are a hypocrite. Hypocrites should not call themselves Christians, it is a bad testimony. Do not compare yourself with Jesus' prayer for He prayed in acknowledging the greatest pain a man could ever suffer while obeyed God's will with no regret.

Fear and Trembling - Handel's Messiah Performance

As the hours draw near, I can feel my heart gets warmer and more anxious. There are a few pieces I still need refining, mainly the finale: "Amen", which the more I study this simple yet incredibly challenging ending with a trembling heart, the more I love this movement more than any other.

It will be my first time to perform at Carnegie Hall. 8pm, today, the 18th of December, EST. Oh, how I wish it not be the last time.

Nevertheless, despite such fear and trembling, I know with firm assurance from the Holy Spirit that this is but one of the greatest piece of music God has given us through his servant George Frideric Handel. It is a great honor God has given me this opportunity to sing and praise His Name and victorious Glory!

I offer this unto you, oh Lord my King and Savior.

Amen.

Word Search

I have yet to find a good translation for Chinese "争气" in English, "To make every effort to succeed" is just too long of a phrase.
