Raise Not to be Taken Likely

One of my network maintenance part time jobs got me a raise from $25/hour to $30. I would be pressured to be more serious and responsible. Whatever the outcome, a sincere and responsible worker always compensate for what worldly matters discriminate.[@more@]

On Love

By human standard, it could only go as far as the greatest drama of sorrows, envy and vengeance. Its flip side would be hypocrisy, selfish isolation and pride seeking.

Meditate on Priscilla and Aquila.

Journal Transfer 02/24/2007 On Christians

Today's church attending Christians can be divided into two categories:

1. Those who want to hear what they want God to tell them.

2. Those who want to hear what God wants to tell them.

Yet Another Narrow Path

It is human nature to take things for granted, if not, it will be skepticism. Unfortunately, many do not seek after a third option.[@more@]

On American Christians

Are there God's chosen children in America? Sure there are. However, from what I'm seeing, there is much to be done than what the Christians in the U.S. are doing so far. Now that they have quite abundant resources. The need for revival in America is more than that which is in other countries.

Categorizing Christians

I see 3 categories:

1. Those who truly humbly seek after the truth.

2. Those who despise the truth.

3. Those who perverse the truth.

So need I ask do all christians go to heaven?

I would say that only God's chosen ones go to heaven.

Then the question would be would all christians be God's chosen ones?

What identifies one as christian?

Journal Transfer 02/12/2007 on Judging

On Judging
==========

We hear that some would say: If there is a God, why would He let all the sufferings and tragedies happen in this world?

First of all, if there is NO God, why would one know sufferings and tragedies? Is one a god himself?
If one knows sufferings and tragedies, why would one let it go on doing nothing? Is one not a god himself?

When facing these challenges, one would have realized that it is inevitable, and come to understand one's own limitation while awing the eternity set within one's heart which could not have been done by one's limited self. By trying to be a god, one would realize that there is a God and he cannot possibly be that God. If one cannot be that God, how could one judge God as if he is a god himself? How could he blame what he himself should have done on God? By realizing his limitation, he should have been more humble.

On Salvation

It is a delight to know the technicality of salvation.

It is sweet to know that God is love and merciful.

It is important to know that we are not worthy for salvation.

It is great to want salvation.

But it is eternal joy to receive your salvation by repentence.

On Evangelism

I see what a lot of evangelism movement Christians do nowadays is not preaching the Gospel, but LOVE instead. And the Gospel, Jesus Christ, are merely a title for accreditation. What is love, without the knowledge of Jesus Christ? Can there not be fake love?[@more@]

A Cure for Lactose Intolerance?

CW11 news mentioned a remedy called "Lactagen", claiming a lifetime cure after 38-day dosage, at $150. Interesting, considering I myself am lactose intolerant. Nevertheless, due to the price, I think I'll take a rain check. I have lived with this condition ever since I came to America. Actually, I've only come to realize this when I came to Philadelphia. As for whether I was like that before, I do not know.

The key ingredient seems to be Lactobacillus Acidophilus, acting as some sort of lactase promoter.
