On Piracy

I tried to find an analogy for software piracy issue, the closest one I could think of thus far is Paintings. Softwares are like paintings, you can make copies of paintings and they don't cost the same as the original ones, why, because of the quality, which is what it used to be with the media with limited technology.  But if we have technology that could make the copies as real as the original paintings, what would the price be?

Metropolitan Museum

I am starting a habit to use Metropolitan Museum as a special kind of library and school for myself. There are great deal of wonders to learn here.

Art, history, hieroglyphs...

 And these are authentic artifacts!!!

I've also recently learned that most of the exhibitions in American Museum of Natural History are real too. The dinosaur bones, the animals (only the skins are real, it's empty inside, they used beetles to eat out the flesh).

On Xenophile

It appears that more caucasian males are married to females of other ethnic cultures than that of which when the ethnicity is reversed. As I have observed, one of the many causes of such is feminism. As the western civilization grew stronger and stronger into feminism, the females of the western culture are therefore becoming less "appealing" to their western counterparts. Statistically, interracial marriages of such are done between western males (usually caucasians) and foreign females of a different ethnicity, instead of local females of a different ethnicity. Hence my observation.

One might argue another cause is due to cultural exchange. Which is not one I would deny. But due to many other factors, very often we've denied the existence of racial prejudice that lies even within our very selves.

They speak of non-discrimination, yet they hid themselves within their own little community. Sometimes, the notion for: fear of discrimination from others, could become an undeniable ally for an excuse.

Then there is the so called "stereotypical view" of acceptance into a superior culture/race. If this is so, could it also affect the preference in the gender of particular ethnicity? From my personal observation, I would have to say that between the caucasians and the chinese community which have been intergrated into the western culture, chinese females are more oriented into such marriages than chinese males. I could only guess at this stage that among many reasons, caucasian males are more receptive to this than caucasian females.

It is hard to determine the cause and effect of such especially when another important variable seems hard to come by. And that is after marriage, God's grace has provided the world today to be committed to marriages. So, when this type of commitment in the interracial marriages turns into a passive result, judgements are clouded by pride and anger.

I fear I may see the day when this love of flesh has pulled the world back into the days of Noah, the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. As prophesied.

For salvation, only the truth shall one free.

I can only pray for God's abundant grace, that we may increase in wisdom, and His mercy, to keep us from this temptations, to keep us from pride. Amen.[@more@]

What Makes a person Lazy?

Could lighting be a cause?  The softer, the lazier.

The brighter, well, I would say the opposite, but it seems to be more complex than that...

Weakness Exposure

Jesus said that it is better for him that a milestone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea should he ever offend those little ones which believe in Christ.

For example, if America fell by someone exposing or manipulating its weakness, be it indirectly or directly, he is guilty of such.

Everything is in God's control, even Balaam, who could hear from God, cannot challenge His will.

What Can't Satan Do?

The Law by God. Are some unknown to mankind?

What can Satan do? Breaking the law by men. Even when men think it is unbreakable. Worse, that is to think or pretend such law is by God.

On Pentacostal Churches
=======================
How should I describe the Charismatic movement. Throughout history, every great teacher has two categories of students. One who is rich but not apt to learn; the other poor but have great hunger for knowledge. One wants only the answers; the other admires the foundations and principles of things, solving every problem with great confidence. The Pentacostal members, are like the first group of students, observing only the superficial materialistic views, even the spiritual life is prematurely based on feelings and emotions. When they're attacked by learned scholars of the enemy, they could only response in anger and frustration, only some are willing enough to return to the reformed teaching.

In some way, one could use the parable of the Prodigal Son to illustrate this. The prodigal son being the pentacostal church, and the older son being the reformed church.

Art of Teaching
===============
The difference between a teacher and a genius is that a teacher is a genius who has to take that extra mile to understand the relationships of matters between person and person, person and society, person and culture, person and the universe, person and God.

Memorable Terms from the Bible
===============================

When to Speak?

Sometimes, knowing certain thing is wrong but yet not able to put it in words, I think, is not wise to speak out. Some, are just not as quick-minded as others. Although, we have to train ourselves to be the best we could, the best God has given us, and leave the rest to God with No Jealousy.

Nevertheless, if we know the words, and speak not, it is also sinful.

 Hence the toughest thing to do would be to know if we've gotten the words.
