Rally Week: Dr. Tong's NYC big rally 2016, since 2010

Today marks the end of the NYC rally for this year. Perhaps he would come again in 2, 3 years. I sensed an unlikely chance of talking to him in person again, hence I thanked him today for coming to NYC after CCCNY service where he preached and took a photo with him. The only photo I have ever taken with him without a crowd.

I may try to visit the Columbia University fellowship, since they collaborated with the STEMI ministry to host the seminar talk on Thursday. Venue: Hamilton Hall 304, 7:30PM every Friday. ccbsg.org

During CCCNY service, Pak Tong mentioned that he did not like the song "I love to Tell the Story" by A. Catherine Hankey. Unlike the Chinese translation, the song in English does not give the content of what this "story" is all about. I may have noted it before, but it is true. Good for the Chinese then.

Listening to Pak Tong's sermon is always very inspiring and persuasive in indulging myself in the ministry of the Lord. Talking to him, even if it's short, is also encouraging.

I believe this is the painting and museum Pak Tong was referring to on the Sacrifice of Jephthah by Paul Gustave DORE:

Recalling at the time, I took a selfie photo with Pak Tong at CCCNY after his Sunday Sermon. Later, Pak Tong mentioned that someone told him that after all the selfie taking with him not just by myself, there are some who take photos with him in order to get evidence as references to a job or whatever career benefit they could get out of.

    I thought to myself: "想不到在唐牧师身边还有心胸这么狭窄的人。"
