Windows Server 2003

It would appear that AntiWPA is the only effective cure for the limited public key problem. I'm sure one can still obtain a student free version via Microsoft's site.

The Introducers Owned

There is a thing to judge, when someone enthusiastically introduces another person to me.

If that person takes great interest in me, then I know that that person truly associate himself/herself with the introducer;

If that person does not take much interest, then it is clear that regardless of what relationship is on the surface, that person does not truly associate himself/herself with the introducer.

2012 Isaac Asimov Debate - Shocker

While I was speedily browsing through this 1:45 hour video, I was suddenly stunned by Dr. David Cline of UCLA's response to a Q&A [@ 1:29:00]:

Cline: [paraphrasing] At UCLA, most of my graduate students are Chinese, this is because very few Americans...BTW, the Chinese government has done a very smart thing by sending its students here. Not nearly enough Americans are going into science...

This is a response to a liberal questioner who wants to talk about the possibility of certain impossibility of scientific breakthroughs. Cline's response seems to target at most Americans who love Hollywood effects rather than real science.

The antagonist of Cline in the debate, Dr. Laura Patrizii of University of Bologna, ended the show with "No comment" to the question on scientific management of the 2 month mistake regarding the faster-than-light neutrino anomaly. From Patrizii's behavior and gesture, Italian accent aside, I conclude that she's hyper anxious for crackpot results.

Virtual Sandbox

Forget about Sandboxie or VMWare. Thus far, I find Faronics' Deep Freeze the best.

Standard edition has only the freezer.

Enterprise edition has remote console with more configurations. (Took a while for me to figure out how to start the package) Turns out one must CREATE a package from the administrator configuration and then run that package.

There is also a server edition.

What's with the Hashtags "#" in Social Media

This hashtag or a pound "#" sign is symbol prefixed to one word. It is culturally associated with Twitter. But generally used in most social media. A metadata tag. When clicked, it lists all posts that contain this hashtag, thereby rendering a good marketing or lobbying tool.

I'm glad that I can still follow up with this kind of stuff.
