DDT

Unless I'm wrong about DDT, it does smell like someone just put DDT, banned in U.S. outside my apartment. But perhaps it's just another form of pesticide or simply the smell of lawnmower run.

The Side Effect of the Self-Denial

This is just a fictional dialog:

In a church, when a news of a divorce case broke,

Celina: Sigh, No! how sad...

Outlander:  It's not surprising, since you promote divorce.

Celina: No I don't.

Outlander: Yes you do.

Celina: No we don't!

Outlander: Yes, you do!

Parallel:

When one of the daugther of an traditional conservative church joined the charismatic movement,

Aristo: Sigh, how could this be?!

Outlander: It's not surprising, since you promote charismatic movement.

Aristo: no I don't.

Outlander: Yes you do, you've shut all other doors.

Another parallel can be written for lamenting those who leave the church and join the christian cults.

A Quote for Romans 1:19 from the Secular

Liv Tyler's new movie "The Ledge" provoked some Christians. I see that this is when Christians lazed off not doing anything (like making a good Christian films) but just sit around watching movies.

I'll note in Liv Tyler's agnostic comment which reminds me of Romans 1:19.

“I definitely have some kind of belief in something bigger than myself. I
almost feel like it's the universe and the earth and mother nature and
that feeling when you go to the beach or stand on top of a mountain and
look around and go, 'God this is not about me,’”

New York Legalizes Same-Sex Marriage

Finally, the homosexual marriage has been legalized in New York, sixth legally gay marriage state.

They called it equality, but for those senators who voted yes and are straight-only themselves, I call them hypocrites. It is an obvious sign of these politicians waving "I am a liar" sign before their supporters.

They are only relieved if they dare to admit to their wives that they saw their choice of spouse 50/50 between male and female and okay their children to be homosexuals.

Rob Bank for $1

Very funny news: Robbing the Bank for $1, so he can get health care in prison.

The idea is not new, but I never thought it can be practical.

This is what happens when government spoils citizens.

Cloud vs. IT

Although being aware of this model a couple years ago, I have recently come to learn of the terminology as "Cloud".

Reading this article,  though I feel no threat of competition, I do believe a lot of businesses hate IT personels & department because of its unreliance, attitude and perhaps punctuality. So as long as I keep these checked, I should be alright.

PS2 to USB Keyboard Adapter

It appears that there's a common issue with this type of converter in the cheap market. And this problem seems to be Keyboard oriented.

According to my research, particularly this site, there are two types of such converter: Active & passive.

The passive adapter is the cheap $1 type, simple direct internal wiring, while the active is more expensive (ie. $7-$15), with internal chip.

Netflix Error Code: N8106-103

This happens on Mozilla Firefox, while IE and Chrome both works fine.

Officially, it's related to internet connection problem with a server https://agmoviecontrol.netflix.com, according to the tech support.

Solution: I cleared the 300+MB cache in Firefox tools, problem solved.
