Another attempt at homemade recording to space

It was some MIT students before, now, a father and son team, from Brooklyn. Much more impressive since they use HD video camera.

I would think keeping the electronics from cooling is very important, which is why the camera or GPS system could easily die when their batteries get too cold, like what usually happens to me during my star-gazing night.

I wonder, since its descent was due to exploded expanding balloon as air pressure decreases (And not the fact that super light gas running out through balloon skin as I was once told by a "Doctor"), and I'm more convinced this is the reason helium balloons don't go on for ever, what if one were to include some partially gassed balloons, so that the rise is maintained to some extend.

Sunday School Teaching

I consider myself separate when it comes to the art of teaching. Though, I have much to learn in examples and rhetoric, even a lot more than others.

But I maintain a crucial difference apart from them. For what they teach, is methodology seen of men; what I teach, are the principles invisible to fools.

For this, I must endure the scorners and may God save me.

Cultural Mandate for the Intellects

Pro 1:22  How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?

Pro 1:22  說:你們愚昧人喜愛愚昧,褻慢人喜歡褻慢,愚頑人恨惡知識,要到幾時呢?

Thus the goings of today's churches, when they pray but seek not the truth, they show but call not upon the Lord, they admire but receive not wisdom.

Weight Machine Problem

After I bought a second weight scale, making sure it works accurately, I got home, and noticed I shouldn't have put any bascula on carpet to measure. On a solid ground, both weights measure up to expectation, a 170LBS.

In theory, I gathered that the carpet increased the force upon the weight because it has potential energy in its elastic structure.

For experiment, I'd need two springs, one on top of another and put a weight upon the top, comparing the spring in the middle by observation with another case where there's only one spring involved. Both tests set the springs upon solid surface.

Now I end up with 1 extra bascula. I should sell it or else give away for free on craigslist.

Dream, Bad Dream? Judgment Day

Last night, or rather, this morning, I had a dream. It was judgment day and I actually believed it and was afraid. It was as if I wasn't ready. I woke up, and was relieved. My perspective changed.

Description: Lightnings so intense until the heaven broke and somewhat destructive blue bright beams struck downward everywhere like giant blue pillars. And in a flash, we're all in some other worldly woods, walking around in confusion, I knew we're waiting for judgment...as I was getting frightened, I woke up.

I have much to do. May God forgive me, have mercy upon me.

Who's going to Hell

There are three kinds: one who knows one's going to hell, one who knows one's NOT going to hell, and, one who doesn't know.

Books by Kenneth W. Osbeck

Apart from Dan Lucarini, I just came across what I believe to be another such hard to find person: Kenneth Osbeck, while researching online. I was looking for reference books on Biblical Characters for Sunday School.

Books of interest by Osbeck: The 52 Bible Characters - Dramatized, 101 hymn stories, The Ministry of Music, etc.

Immigration Then and Now

After reading this informative news, I conclude, that the reason for opposite federal parties debating tirelessly on the pertaining subject is due to the fact that they are trying very hard not to "judge others". Thus, they never get to the truth, they are never set free from the issue.

Stephen Colbert on Immigration

Interesting how Stephen Colbert puts it in the end: These were the least of my brothers...they suffered...no right.

Although he is a Catholic sunday school teacher,  I sometimes admire his unique boldness as a celebrity.
