On Judgmental God

Some has called Rev. Stephen Tong, or Paul Washer, or other preachers, too proud or too full of themselves, because their speeches were harsh, judgmental, etc.

No doubt, there are many self-righteous preachers who see themselves on top of the world. Nonetheless, as Jesus calls us to JUDGE a righteous judgment, can we so lightly take how we judge others judge?

In the end, it is perhaps these souls cannot stand the GOD of these truly righteous men of God and willing to worship the idol of their own "none judgmental, no punishment, treating only their own moral values as right" lives. Knowing at some suppressed consciousness that the God preached by these righteous men is the only TRUE GOD, therefore, taking their rebellious behavior against these preachers. As Jesus puts it:"If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you." John 15:18. Those whose attitude were at the risk of blasphemy against the work of the Holy Spirit saying:"Don't judge, Only God can judge", would one day stand before the Judgment Throne saying:"Okay okay, God don't judge anymore, I've already admitted I'm a sinner, get over it", or would they get this chance before a lightning strikes them to oblivion?

On Motives of Study

Some study to become doctors;
some study to make money;
some study to be famous;
some study to follow others;
some study to get a dream home;
some study out of jealousy;
some study to fill more knowledge;
some study out of boredom;

Nevertheless, there are a few SOME, who study because they have fallen in love with God and His marvelous creations.

GPT Protective Partition

Amazingly, I couldn't format a Mac HDD from windows due to this GPT protective format. Here's the help from Paul Gu to fix the problem:

In Windows XP Professional, if you cannot access or modify GPT disk, you can convert a GPT disk to MBR by using the clean command in DiskPart, which will remove all data and partition structures from the disk.

1. You may see S2VR HD 5 Drives in GPT status.

2. Go to DOS command line (click on “Start Menu”, then “Run”, type in “cmd” in textbox, and hit “OK”)

* Type in “DiskPart” in command line.
* Type in “list disk” in command line to show all disks in this machine.

* Use “select” to set the focus to the specified partition, for example “select disk 1″.
* Use “clean” command to remove GPT disk from the current in-focus disk by zeroing sectors.

3. Go back to Disk Management, you can see all S2VR HD disks are “unallocated” now. Right click on disk info, choose “Initialize Disk”.

4. Choose all drives in S2VR HD and initialize them.

Stomach Flu

Been having stomach flu starting last Friday. May have been the second time. Only liquilds, no stool. Made papaya milk juice on Saturday, seems to help a bit. Bought Quaker's high fiber oatmeat (was looking for Muesli in Pathmark, found none), seems to help the after effect constipation. Need to watch fiber diets.

Ignore offer of meat during meals with others. Those retards think that youths should eat more meat.

The Sons of Perdition Used by God

I think that even the sons of perditions who are used by God should be thankful to God, just because God allows them to do what they do in fulfilling the prophecy of evil acts in the sight of God.

On Urging Church Members to Serve

I've heard sermons or speeches that urges church members to serve or preach, "Don't be a consumer christians", "if everyone preaches to just one other then the exponential growth is remarkable", etc.

Personally, I've never been one to favor such urging. In fact, like how Paul refused Barnabas to bring Mark in Acts 15:38, I consider urging one to serve as blinding veil for us from seeing what God's will and true calling for one is.

Therefore, not only would I not urge, I would have to bear the burden of rebuking those who serve with me without calling. And how do I know one has not such calling? If one asks this question, then that's one of the how's.

On Gap Theory

Genesis 1:2 mentioned that "...the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep".

Gap theory uses this verse to explain certain mysteries, such as the dinosaurs, mysterious warfare between God and the Devil-such as that of John Milton's fantasy in Paradise Lost, etc.

I would think it is interesting. But I wouldn't agree that the Bible provides sufficient information to indicate any evidence of such theory. Therefore, it could also be said that God had the earth created in a very infant state, which requires decoration and care.

As for a mysterious warfare such as that in Paradise Lost, one can take it as an anthropomorphic interpretation of what actually goes on in the spiritual realm.

And the age of the earth is another story.

My View on Modern Day Fellowships

For most fellowship gatherings, other than Sunday Service, it is more of a vain pursue of union, even more vain than non-christians, than a sober pursue of true unity.
