People that Amazes Me
I remember a mother asking troubling question but appears to be piously prayerful during a summer retreat on the issue of how God allowed Job's children to be killed like that.
It would appear that this same mother also cares very much for her own son's disciplinary growth, because I observed that she seems to honor and value, overwhelmingly much, the tutor who is mentoring her son in useful subject that's in her son's interest as an encouragement in discipline.

CCCNY Daily Devotion scripting finally DONE!
Finally! The automated daily (Mon-Sat) devotional reading php script at cccny.org/devotion.html site is done. After about 8 straight hours of labor.
Now, I don't have to update the scripture schedules every day. Just once a week, inputing all 6 days' reading in a text file and upload it and voila!!! The next time I need to manual update is a week away.

Finding the right answer
When we answer our own questions, we often make ourselves more professional than we should, and that is the danger.
Then again, it is easy to be tricked by those who loves to teach "have an open mind".
Conclusion: It is rather hard to walk the narrow road.

Being Kind to the unthankful and to the Evil
Despite the problem in American Christianity, Rev. Stephen Tong's decision to start a reformed seminary here is something I'm much grateful for. One never knows, that God uses one's great yet submissive love and caring in a Nineveh so that a lost soul such as I could see the light.

Ah...Marmite!
I believe today is the first time I've tasted Marmite soup in America. After googling, Marmite is found at Butcher's Block, 41st & Queens Blvd. Costs me $10!!! for such a small jar...I think it's a bit smaller than what I've seen in Malaysia, unless my fingers have overgrown.
