Gave me problem when I tried to print business card thick paper. Not able to fully load sometimes.
Problem solved unsatisfactorily. Solution: While thick paper was loading, I manually pushed feed so it wouldn't stuck halfway.

Create directory /mnt/usbstick:
mkdir /mnt/usbstick
Mount the usb device, in my case: it's /dev/sda1:
mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/usbstick
And it's ready!!!
Sometimes when it is replugged, it needs to be remounted:
umount /mnt/usbstick
mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/usbstick
Or add an alias in the .bashrc file in home directory (use ';' to combine two command lines).

Many scholars would claim that Joseph's sin was hubris. But by careful considering their interpretations, I gathered they are heading the wrong way, minor, but not the least.
I do not believe that Joseph sinned by "showing off" all his blessings. The other side to this might not necessarily be humility, but hypocrisy and fake modesty can easily be mistaken for humbleness.
Nevertheless, I believe that Joseph wasn't all perfect. I would need further study on this issue. Just as many would think that Job did not sin. But by his inquiry to God, he has sinned. Some would say that he confessed for his original sin, but I do not believe that is the case, for God did not ask him to confess for that sin, it was the confession of belonging to a fallen ancestry that God wanted him to confess.[@more@]
The Christians counselors sent from America to the war zones should understand that under U.S. law, they are the shepherds of the U.S. soldiers, however, under God's Law, they have to minister to the enemies too from an initiative movement. Such, is the persecution. The persecution is not living in deserts, not sacrificing TV and sports game time, not sacrificing time in chatting with only a selective group of the distressed. These counselors are mostly pastors, preachers, what is their role? To show America is god? or our Lord Jesus Christ? Otherwise, why must the counselors be Christians?

Excerpt from Slashdot.org:
"Twenty-four federal departments and agencies earned a collective grade of C-minus last year for their performance in meeting computer and network security requirements, according to marks handed out by a key congressional oversight committee today. The government-wide grade is up slightly from the 2005, when it earned an overall grade of D+. Eight agencies earned A grades, while as many warranted failing marks. '..the Department of Defense led a group of eight agencies that received failing marks for computer security. Also receiving that dubious distinction were the departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Education, Interior, State and Treasury, as well as the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The Department of Homeland Security earned a D, although its overall performance improved since 2005. The Department of Veterans Affairs did not provide enough data to earn a grade. In 2005, it received an F.'"
So tell me, how does America value talents?
Around 10 years ago, it has begun to cease financial aids to international students fearing that Uncle Sam's treasures will go to waste. Which is true in some cases, but proper elective process could still be done for the greater America. Instead, discrimination was promoted. However, according to "The Chinese in America" by Iris Chang, racial discrimination in the high educated class has been around for quite a while.
America is a big country, but to say it's getting better, I can hardly see that.

I believe an edifying conversation is one that is focused on a single topic, single subject.

Of the three who refused the Nobel Prizes, I admire only Le Duc Tho, who truly claimed that he deserved it not. While Pasternak's reason was some might say, cowardice, I would say lack of conviction. Last but not least, Sartre's "excuse" is a strange one because it would appear that he knew the problem with worldly desires but he also seemed to exhibit despisal upon the institution.
I would say, one should know how to use this occasion to honor God. But then if you don't accept the prize or give the prize away to someone who's not your family, one would usually be in trouble with his family, especially the closer ones such as the wife, the husband, the mother or the father or siblings. However, in my experience, I have come to believe that it is mostly the case with the wife or the mother. Or perhaps it is a Chinese cultural thing. If that is the case, I would say, give it all to whoever it might be, because one needs to honor his/her parents and to allow yourself the opportunity to be a witness to whoever it may be. Then again, if it's the case with a wife, a man should know the authority that was given him by God while not going to the extreme, so in this case, wisdom is in order. And in the question of honoring God, it is not wrong for one to proclaim, "I have no need for the money, but if I don't take it, my mother would kill me". I'm sure the audience would smile in agreement. However, if financial condition demands the prize money, that proclamation would not be a good thing to say, or it would be hypocritical.
And if you take the money, it would be another important matter between you and God. Nevertheless, if you don't take the money, as I have mentioned only a little above, it is still an important matter between you and God. Eventually, it all comes down to 1Corinthians 10:31.
I would have to categorize this entry in "Reflection" because this is purely my thought. But I think that this is in favor of God.

Churches like the Westboro Baptist Church and ATrueChurch have been eager to teach the true doctrine but they fail to put things in order. By this, they would not be able to understand why Jesus Christ did not go around proclaiming that He is the son of God, He is God, directly.
Furthermore, by claiming that they know who is going to hell, for example: Billy Graham, Greg Laurie, etc. would be unbiblical. Did Jesus say John the Baptist is going to hell? Did Paul said that Barnabas and Peter were going to hell?
Now, for those who preach "Believe in Jesus and everything will be fine" in a shallow manner, repentance is required for the faith. Do not take out the word "repent" out of the Gospel. People can easily believe "Jesus" by simply replace the word "repent" with "be entertained". If you are already saved and committed a sin, repent and sin not again, make sure you mean it.

Timothy, please tell me a Christian friend party celebrating birthday, departure or anniversaries that has been profitable? Why?[@more@]
Being a pastor without preaching experience or preaching desire is not spreading the Gospel or being called by God. It's called "getting a job".[@more@]
