AOL has a very poor concept of how to handle SPAM

Some emails sent to AOL email addresses never arrive. No response from Postmaster either. Ethical? Legal?

After experiencing this for quite a while, I looked up the internet and found this interesting article at http://www.dmsiusa.com/aol.htm or click here (cached on this server).

Wrong Adoption

Some people like to stay single but love children, hence started a family by adoption.

In order to avoid labor, some women rather adopt.

These people don't necessarily claim that they are against marriage, child labor. But just not on them.

These people are in fact, irresponsible hypocrites, acting against God, be it knowingly or not.

Nevertheless, when facing the adopted children of such, one must be wise and be positively encouraging to them so that they come to the truth and God. However, the behavior and perverted philosophical ways of their adoptive parents are not to be tolerated.

Synchronizing Outlook

Of course there are always third party softwares. And there is also the Exchange Server.

But seems that Briefcase would do the trick, never really thought of the usefulness of briefcase. Perhaps I will try it some day.

Google's calendar is also quite good.

Irony

Before it's so hard to find a job, now I got plenty, too much that I hardly find time to sleep. Money of course is another matter as I am more interested in the works than $$$.[@more@]

Windows (Quick format vs Full format)

It seems that with quick format, sometimes certain installation files cannot be copied...unless it was done with full format which takes a lot longer for especially larger HDD.

Such is the experience I have at NYGC (New York General Consulting, 18th Flr, Empire State Building) when I tried to install Windows 2003 Server:

With many different versions of Windows 2003 Server, there's always a break during installation telling me that certain files (sonydcam.sys, srgb.icm, msyuv.dll, mchgrcoi.dll, etc.) cannot be copied from the CD/DVD.

Of course, there could be other reasons such as hardware problem, memory problem, etc.

But a full format would give less such problem. I was used to quick format since I don't like to waste any time.

How do I sacrifice my time for the Bronx? Perhaps Robert Raikes has the answer.

Offer Refused

A friend (Boss of a chinese takeout restaurant I once worked at) informed me of an opportunity which one of their customer Tom(tko@impactmgmt.com) is looking for programmers. I have tought of it for a few seconds. My decision is no. Since I'm leaving America anyway, there's no need to waste my time like this. Unless it's part time. Nevertheless, I already have enough responsibilities as of now. I learn more and could earn more than whatever they could offer.

Moreover, I have no intention to be an American Citizen. My future is known, my calling is certain.

A note of advice from me to the Americans,
if you do not have hardship and struggle, please, please pray to God for it.

If you are an American, be an american who honors God.

If you are not, honor God also.[@more@]

Have We No Right

I have just received a book by Mabel Williamson "Have We No Right", not easy to find, but not too hard on ebay. Due to time, I think I'll speed read this one for the time being.
