What's Happening Til Now

Finally visited Mara's Continental Restaurant by Rt. 35. Yesterday 4/30, around 4:30pm. It was Friday specials...meaning the dishes I ordered were only made for Fridays. Charred Octopus for $20, Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass Over Risotto Special $42. I knew it was pricey, I just always wondered how it would taste. Based on the few reviews, I doubted that a high class restaurants would be any good in South Amboy, not to mention running business here. However, the food was indeed excellent. The price is still too high class for me, but the charred Octopus (two good size about 7" each tentacles), with well marinated "skin". Not too hard, not to rubbery (Americans hate that, unlike Chinese). The Seared Chilean Sea Bass was awesome as well. The butter marinate and the texture on the bass were incredible...I tried to identify the ingredients, but that's about it...I think the waiter mentioned white wine was used. But the amount of aroma used was definitely not too much and not too little. I guess to find a fish like that the keyword would be CHILEAN sea bass. I would go back, but only for very special occasion.

Thinking back on certain issue, if I hadn't said it, this is it, that Rev. Lin's ministry is like that of Bill Gothard's: The ministry of Uzzah: 乌撒的事奉. "justifying lies for the ministry", "Apologizing on behalf of all Christians", these are all works of unholy hands trying to make it look like their unholiness is qualified if it is "helping/supporting" God's ministries.
