Laundry Faucet Leak

This link illustrates the exact same problem I have with my basement's laundry faucet acorn-head supply tube (hot water).

Solution:

if the compression nut is tight, then you should not have a leak. dont put teflon on a compression joint face. you can, if desperate pull it apart and coat everything with a good layer of pipe dope and then reassemble. sometimes you may have a little corroded pore that this can fix. might be time to replace the supply line, nut and ferrule. other possibilities:

1) its not leaking from the supply connection. in these setups, its sometimes hard to diagnose where the leak is due to access issues. check the compression nut on the cross connection. they often work themselves loose and cause a tiny leak that wicks down the threads of the valve body and makes it appear the leak is coming from the supply line connection.

2) valve body itself could be cracked or leaking from one of the valve bushing nuts up above. same logic as 1)

Bob Fu's God's Double Agent

So Keith bought me this book after a Voice of the Martyrs conference. Since I wasn't able to attend and I contacted him too late for a ride.

This would have been one of my ebook collection for the sake of storage. But oh well.

So yesterday, at the end of my Sabbath rest enjoying morning service and some first time Filipino food near South Amboy (Tropica Hut Catering), my wife prepared me a bath with bath salt and candle lights, for the first time. And for the first time, I used the Jacuzzi room.

I managed to read the first 2 chapters while in the bath.

I'll summarize the book in the comments, chapter by chapter.

George Whitefield by Steven Lawson

Other men merely existed, Whitefield lived - Martin Lloyd Jones

Who's the greatest preacher you have ever heard, that's easy. What would be hard is who's the second best - John Newtown

Whitefield preaches powerfully. Known for preaching the new birth - you must be born again.

Influenced by Henry Scougal: The Life of God in the Soul of Man. A book about the new birth.

Reza Aslan's book Zealot

This interview should reveal much of Aslan's flaws.

He said that historians care about what's likely more than what's possible. He's confusing historians with statisticians.

He basically confused truth with arguments (he considers the Gospels as arguments and not history), and truth with facts.

Texas gunman shot killer in church, prevented further deaths

While we praise the hero, I can't help but wonder if this has been overwhelmed by the divergent political parties in this country.

It's so hard to find news details on the perpetrator or the victims. All online search result is about how good guys with guns promote gun ownership. A win for the pro-gun.

A later search of the video, which was live streamed from the church, is now heavily edited.

Good thing I was able to find a raw footage and download it before it gets taken down. Bunch of effeminate losers.

Just realized Youtube removed the video I just uploaded...I guess it's YouTube that's the loser. Finding another embedding source:
