It reminds me of the time the Sunday School children asked me about leprosy. Thought treatable in most cases, the lack of prevention methods is still alarming.
I could use more research.

Last night the class begun.
It was interesting meeting Jewish converts, particularly women, elderly women. A couple of Charismatics also, apparently, not surprisingly, but I can make do with that.
I couldn't believe hearing Jewish Christians teaching and learning about Christ using their Hebrew background and terminologies. It was very educational.
A well cherished moment, and 8 more to come.
What I learned:
Targum: (I was aware of it, but here's simpler definition: Aramaic translation of the OT with added words, by Rabbis up to the 200AD. A lot of which are anti-Christian in content.)
Torah is from the word Yarah, which means shoot, straight.
The most common findings of the Dead Sea Scrolls: Isaiah, Deuteronomy & Psalms. Which are also the 3 most quoted books in NT.
The best argument from Rabbis on Isa 53 is that the Servant is referring to the remnant of Israel, since referring to the nation of Israel would fail horribly.
I asked about earlier "chosen people ministry", so far, I have only the name Alfred Edersheim (late 19th century) to go by. And the Messianic Judaism (MJAA- America).
There is a worthy note about the wiping out of virtually all early Hebrew Christians during the Holocaust and documentaries made of it. These will be my research.
This project attempts to date history of the Biblical world.
It begins from Adam and use only Biblical verses as guide to mark time.
I am not yet fully convinced by the Young Earth Creationists that "a day" is a 24-hour day as they claim. They claim that to be the Hebrew definition of a day. I am more convinced of a more literal definition of that: that it is an evening and morning - a day. So it could be 24.1 hour, 25 hour, etc. which I do not believe is the same as the 24-hour view point. Not even for 0.1 hour difference. So if it is a 25 hour day, it could be a much longer period day...even a week, year. But also, I am not talking about a figurative day, that a single day represents multiple days. If the "day" means contemporary thousands of years time frame, that it is only because there is only one daylight and one night in all these thousands of years. This is the more convincing argument for myself.
Therefore, I am not marking the creation of the Universe as a starting point.
Thus far it has been fun and very educational. Particularly on Shem's and Abraham's birthright. Jacob's age of birthright blessing, etc.
Though Judah is in Christ's genealogy, it appears that I need to use Joseph as a marker in the timeline because there is no due for Judah's life, except in external Jewish text.
A good resource is answersingenesis.org. They even have a detail chart.

Yes, it's easy to admit no one is perfect. No church is perfect. All churches have their own problem. But when someone especially from outside criticizes the problem, no church would admit it. Worse, they will try to find faults at those who criticize...remember the Pharisees doing the same thing to Jesus? Only that they cannot find Jesus' fault. But that's not enough, when the time has come for the Messiah to reveal himself as God to them, they consider it blasphemy.
This is because of one simple error: No one can criticize, because no, not one human being is perfect. Only God is perfect. If Jesus is man, then he must not be perfect.
Therefore, even today, we still have problem with the monophysitism vs. dyophysitism, because many still cannot fathom the fact that Jesus was fully man, while they claim with pride, their knowledge of God and Christ.
In other words, had they been in those days, they would be as the Pharisees, finding faults in Christ and being restless against a neighbor's perfection.
The lesson here is this: Though we know that no man is sinless, we are not to assume faults in others without reason, for it could be deadly. Seek the truth first, and then criticize.
These slow motion stuffs are always so creative in their simplest form. The Art of God.
I have now verified that it is true that Jared could eats at Subway for free with his "black card". But I am unclear about the first class flight travel deal.
It is different kind of seal. Not the same.
John spoke of the seal from the believer to testify God is true while Paul was referring to the Holy Spirit's seal.
It is a no-brainer, but the last Bible Study was in such mess that even I was a bit lost. I should bring my e-Sword next time.
David Tong posted a fun video in Mathematics a few days ago:
1+2+3+4+...= -1/2
This is called messing around with the concept of infinity.
After a long thought...(I must if I were to consider myself a math major)...my concluding response was:
Ok. No more thinking about it I think I'd say nice trick, but to theologize it, I'd have to call it a heresy if not explained properly. I think it starts with Grandi's series: S1 = 1-1+1-1+...=1/2. If we are to maintain ∞ (infinity) a concept instead of a number which would yield contradiction in this case, then we must also admit that 2(S1): 1+0+0+... is not simply 1+0, in the normal arithmetic sense. After that, we can discuss more about the wonders of ∞.
I must say, I admire greatly the enthusiasm of Brady Haran of the video. I have only seen one other mathematician with such enthusiasm and I do not remember his name (a Math PhD from Stony Brook years).
This series is one of those "I think something's wrong with it, but I just cannot figure it out right now" kind of theories.
It had me almost convinced (what a poor mathematician am I) and gone Willy Wonka for a little bit.
I've briefly read on Cesaro's Sum, quantum physics (renormalization), and other clues. I even discovered a renewed interest in number theory, such as that which led to Andrew Wiles' proof of Fermat's Last Theorem.
School's going to be fun. Nonetheless, too many things, too little time. Time management is crucial.
The method seems sound. But the problem is like many other tutorials out there, one cannot be certain if the language taught is accurate enough. It would appear that some of the Korean terms may not be right.
Youtube has better offers on many language learning nowadays.
We had Freelancer Code bidding, Guru code bidding, Get a Coder(Which I have used once).
Then there is Coursera and the likes.
Another income generating idea that is similar to freelancer bidding is Kickstarter that helps projects get funding. It is a wonderful idea as we can browse through tons of very creative ideas in the making.
