Taking two with one, on local theological issue - hermeneutics
Last Sunday, in a sermon, the pastor shared a moment of the East Side Bible fellowship on Friday where the question of "What is the purpose for Jesus to come" asked by the teacher. It was emphasized to a point that only that verse's answer is correct (...I have come to do your will, O God) and that all other answers seemed to be less accurate if not wrong. And it is apparent that the pastor concurred.
I think that since the study of that day is on Hebrews 10:7, it doesn't mean that one should take the verse out of its context. Therefore, it is not right to disqualify an answer if it doesn't pertain to the verse in question unless it is only within that passage that the question refers to. So answers that are also found especially elsewhere in the Bible should be treated as it should: I am Come...to fulfil the law (Matthew 5:17), ...to Preach (Mark 1:38), ...to call sinners to repentance (Luke 5:32), ...to send a sword (Matthew 10:34-35)...etc. [Jamieson, Fausset and Brown Commentary of Heb 10:7]
I do fully agree the former answer is a very good one, John 6:38-39, however, I will not disregard the other answers as if they were of lesser value. Because by saying that the answer can only be the will of God, it is a disdain to some's intellect, as if accusing them contradicting the will of God with the other answers.
Thus, with the motive inspected, I would say that the question itself is immature. For if I wanted people to see importance of following the Will of God, I would not ask someone: Why do you eat your food? and expect to tell them they are wrong if they do not answer and only answer "Because it's the Will of God". Though it is important to teach the Will of God, this kind of pedagogy is downright deceptive and narcissistic.

Avira's Annoying New Ad
Seems that the online protection won't enable unless one agrees to install the webguard add-on in the browser.
I'd still prefer this to AVG since I can simply uninstall the add-on from my Firefox.

Geovision: Remote ViewLog Unable to connect to Server
This is probably the second time I faced this problem at NYGC.
When Geovision's Remote Viewlog is opened, it cannot connect on certain computer, saying Unable to Connect to Server. Please verify the IP address and port number.
Solution:
There was nothing wrong with the firewall or router or network. It is due to the incompatible versions of the Viewlog installed. Sometimes even after update, the old version is not removed or that the DMMultiview will still connect to the old version.
Thus, new version can easily be accessed via START->All Programs->Remote ViewLog. Or by editing the registry->HK_LOCAL_MACHINE->SOFTWARE->GEOVISION->...change all path from v800 (old) to the new C:\Program Files\Geovision\Remote Viewlog

When one of the daugther of an traditional conservative church joined the charismatic movement,
Aristo: Sigh, how could this be?!
Outlander: It's not surprising, since you promote charismatic movement.
Aristo: no I don't.
Outlander: Yes you do, you've shut all other doors.
Another parallel can be written for lamenting those who leave the church and join the christian cults.

A Quote for Romans 1:19 from the Secular
Liv Tyler's new movie "The Ledge" provoked some Christians. I see that this is when Christians lazed off not doing anything (like making a good Christian films) but just sit around watching movies.
I'll note in Liv Tyler's agnostic comment which reminds me of Romans 1:19.

New York Legalizes Same-Sex Marriage
Finally, the homosexual marriage has been legalized in New York, sixth legally gay marriage state.
They called it equality, but for those senators who voted yes and are straight-only themselves, I call them hypocrites. It is an obvious sign of these politicians waving "I am a liar" sign before their supporters.
They are only relieved if they dare to admit to their wives that they saw their choice of spouse 50/50 between male and female and okay their children to be homosexuals.
