It is obvious Creation Museums are very very Christian oriented. The extreme would be that they probably worship only the first chapter of Genesis.
When I read this news, my first impression was are all staffs in the museum christians, are their integrity for a museum compromised?
I'm sure there could be a well intended, godly explanation behind all this. But as far as the truth is concern, based on what I've learned about these southern Bible belt, crazed Jesus Camp children brainwashing, socially closed red necks, it is sometimes very hard for me to see pass a good will from it.
Nevertheless, I would easily support such decision. Unfortunately, when authority is in concern, it is troubling, when hosting such couple events, one has to consider the eligibility of homosexuals in our time.
Perhaps it is better, to title not just "creation museum", but with the word Christian in it like "Christian Creation Museum", etc. At least this would not misrepresent faith and science, a crime other paleontological museums have committed.
Bloomberg finally did it, signing legislation to ban smoking in 1,700 parks, 14 miles of public beaches, etc...
Violators get fined up to $50. Smokers are welcome to go to side walks and parking lots.
I do have my share of disgust with the smell of smoke, which is incredibly abundant in this city. Almost all the time while walking on the streets...smokes would often pass from front walkers to people behind them. I have learned to control my hate...something I see a Priscilla Chan couldn't contain on facebook. She would definitely love the mayor here.
I am aware that if I had gotten too used to the comfort provided by the new rule, I would easily be ignorant of the same victims elsewhere. Especially when I have yet fully overcome my hate.

Science itself is purely perfect within its realm. It is the imperfect man who makes errors in science. Errors due to bad faith.
But when errors become irresponsibility, worship of science is ready to be born. Consequently, the fine line between pure science and faith is obscured.
Therefore, faith in science, is not scientific, but religious.
So ends the debates like the theory evolution. For it is merely another religion. Just as creationism is a matter of faith.
Therefore, we cannot consider anything as scientific facts when our approach can cause error. A humor I would always love to contend with: That a biologist worst nightmare with a mathematician is the methodology in the pursue of truth.

Supermassive black holes are 2-10 times less massive than previously thought.
Time and time again I noticed my bad management skill cost me time and money, mostly just time. It's the littlest things, like getting longer process programs to run before certain vain work or chat, cooking certain time consuming thing before other smaller errands even phone calls, etc. I supposed cooking management in such a way is a bit more dangerous.
Nonetheless, it's the every seconds that count. And I know by experience, the nonchalant christian counsellor type people would love to think I'm more depressed than repentant, more in need of their counsel than in need of God.
I make this entry because I must be sober, experience taught me that.
Was reading a blog, acquainted with a Joshua Woo Sze Zeng (apparently studied at Trinity Theological College of Singapore), who has a blog in the past for nitpicking Dr. Stephen Tong's lectures and sermons (though much professional than others like 陳遠明 or 謙順, etc., mentally speaking, but nitpicking nonetheless).
Premise 1: If God exist, then he would eradicate evil.
Premise 2: Housework is evil.
Premise 3: I have to do housework, hence evil exist.
Conclusion: God does not exist.
But if God exist, clearly one of my premise is wrong. Which is it I wonder?
To which I answered:
That's easy:
Premise 1: If God exist, then he would eradicate evil.
Supposition: If and only if God eradicates evil, then evil would not exist.
Explanation: Since the non-existence of evil cannot exist without the eradication by (I reposted my comment because I used the word "of" instead of "by") God, therefore God exist.
Solved.

I supposed he was trying to make a point that "housework is not evil".
I was thinking of writing such program, but apparently they already exist.
Bidding at the last seconds increases chance of good bargains on common/multiple/relisted ebay products. Unlike some auction sites, Ebay doesn't extend end time for bidding.
Instead of writing my own automatic bidding software, perhaps I should use some of these so called "auction snipers" or snipe/snipes such as Ebay Auction Sniper, Gixen, etc.
The only trouble I have is they could be either unsecure (web version thus requiring user/pass of ebay account entered) or not free.
I recently received an email from a friend I had acquainted with during Dr. Stephen Tong's Rally. Since he brought up the name, I shared my thought on this person, who has now left CCGC and joined his chuch, briefly, with him.
His recent email made a short statement about this person as being good to the church, claiming to lean towards calvinism.
I replied I had no doubt about his doctrinal direction and that it is good to hear he's being "good" to his church.
That would be enough. Despite my suspicion.
Of course, the major problem I have on this person is simple: Promising but immature for his age, as a christian. Then this is similar to most young western christian leaders these days. Nothing shocking.
However, when I recall the past, after all these years, I have arrived at a much clearer conclusion:
When one can indulge in a thousand girlfriends while holding a leadership position in a Christian community and making himself greater than the incumbency of a pastoral anointment of God, it is very difficult for me not to have a huge question mark on his sense of responsibility, not in the world, but in God's work.
