We Must Not only Say What We Believe, But Also Must Deny What We Don't Believe

Reading this article, I am impressed by this quote:

"As Francis Schaeffer insisted again and again, in our postmodern world
we must not only say what we believe, but also must deny what we don't
believe."

Some approach issues blindly thinking that "blindly" means positively.

Now where the source of this notion of Francis Schaeffer...

Brazilian Model Died, seemingly tragically

Reading this news, I do emphatize.

However, although the intention is noble, that is to honor parents, to work hard at bringing family out of poverty; I do not believe using beauty as a mean of surviving through Adam's curse is the way to go.

I'm afraid the Americas, especially the South Americans,  have over praised human beauty.

The Danger of Old Age

At least in this era, perhaps the older we get, the more ignorant we become. And so the more we realize this, perhaps the more watchful we must be.

State of Mind Part 2

Data Recovery Enigma Over

Finally, after weeks of recovering and rearranging and moving, all recovered pictures of one of my client whom another client introduced, have been restored. I am unable to put much fee on this due to my own recklessness of not checking the status of her laptop when she first gave it to me to merely reinstall the system, not data recovery.

Be more careful, don't assume the clients have any slight knowledge of the status of their systems.

Ready For Battle

After "examining" the churches in the city last year, I felt I needed to put everything on hold when I came across CCCNY. She is one of few Chinese churches in New York that emphasizes on orthodox doctrines and principles. And I knew I have much to learn before anything else could happen.

At times, I feel like I'm in a battle where I'm a soldier who's been ordered to stand guard at the gate, pacing up and down anxiously with the sword ready in my firmly gripping hand, waiting for the order to charge. Not knowing that I was ordered from the battle because I wasn't ready, I wasn't patient enough, I wasn't discipline enough.

I should spend time and silence to meditate patiently and pray on these matters.

On Learning

Some men learn to be a better person; others learn to be a better actor.

Go Talk to Him, Go Talk to Her

There's a rule that I abide by: If you got nothing to say, don't speak, let others speak.

Pentacostal & Charismatic Identity

Fundamentally, I do not identify the Pentacostals or the Charismatics by speaking in tongue, healing, etc., but by their emotional behavior, and that's that.

Hence, there will be some who claim to be Pentacostal, but are not; and some to be non-Pentacostal, but are.

Speaking Up for the Right Cause is Definitely than Silence

Glad to see someone, if not an actor, still got the guts to do this.
