I saw on TV where one was asked if he had sexual relationship with someone else before marriage...the answer came after hesitation...the answer was yes.

During the pause, we can already see guilt and embarrassment. Yet, some had realized these and deliberately destroyed their guilt with pride, making premarital sex seem guiltless. So mankind had ignored the fear of God, of conscience, of life.

However the answer is, he cannot fake true righteousness, he cannot escape his conscience. If yes, I have said enough. If the answer is no, there's either he's telling the truth as there should be no need to hesitate, or he's lying which he will have to be responsible of his guilt himself, alone.

Then, there's another possible answer of "No Comment". There is already some evidence of sin. If you are not guilty, why such reply? Is it not pride? Whatever your excuse is, you can never remove the tag "pride" that comes with it.

When I was around 9, I knew a classmate who was very proud and never saw defeat...

After Lincoln's bold attempt to make his nation see its pride, the job has been left to preachers, pastors, churches. The presidents seem to have less and less responsibility in such ethic ever since the time of Lincoln.

1945, America has shown the world of its power with the manipulation of the nature of atoms.

Many had realized the disaster before Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Yet, in order to "teach the Japanese a lesson", America's pride overcame its curiousity with such excuse.

Was destroying two cities of civilians really the only solution? Pride can overshadow wise decisions.

Ever since then, America has become the super power figure. Using this opportunity of fame to more gain, it has promoted other areas of achievements such arts, musics, humanitarianism, science, etc.

Humanitarianism...such noble deed. How can it be backing an action that wiped out women and chidren?

So, where is the balance? Is there not?

Actually, there is a balance. The balance is, as pride was masked by false righteousness, that American humanistic actions around the world is masking the guilt of causing the disasters in the first place. To make the point, these actions go to other places in the world as well.

So, these actions are American's payment; Not American grace. If it is grace, it is God's grace, and not God's payment. Resistance is futile.

Christians everywhere, whether Americans or not, be responsible before God, be obedient before God. Do not rebel against your governments, your authorities on Earth. We all are children of God, we who are members of the holy universal church of Christ, must do justly, love mercy and walk humbly with our God.

I have said enough, it is time I put my time to better use.

NIV is a rather good translation of the Bible. It is copyrighted and not to be distributed freely by human law. There are other translations of the Bible with this kind of restrictions.

Nevertheless, there are many better translations out there that are free. KJV, KJV+, ASV, etc. These may be harder to understand, but they are translated more directly from the original texts more often than others such as NIV. Psalms 76:10 is a very good example.

Translations that paraphrased the original meanings of the Bible are to be mindful of, not rejected without cause.

Translations that based on the changing world to fit the need of the modern cultures are sad, pathetic disgrace. This proves nothing more than the fact that evolution(macro-evolution) is false, which is why humans are dumb and dumber today. God does not "fit" us; We are the ones who should be changed.

Freely you have received, freely give. Some people just can't seem to understand this concept.

I thank God for the few lawyers who, like Mary, pour precious ointment on Jesus.

Again, illegal does not mean sin. Legal does not mean sinless.

Nonetheless, Christians should not rebel against authorities on Earth.

When you take what is partial as whole, and accept it as the whole truth, as absolute, such, is the perversed form.

Even to those interpreting the Bible this way.

I don't recall adding a schedule to tutor Neal today. Somehow it showed up in my Outlook Calendar and I went...

Maybe I dreamt it and put it down. But that wouldn't really explain how I could also typed in the correct phone number because the only other way to get his phone number would be to go through much complicated methods which would not be easily forgotten.
