There are no more unread messages, but the mail EMAIL icon on Android still shows 3 messages unread.
This is fixed by Clearing Data of the app called "BadgeProvider", reboot was suggested after data clearing, but it seems unnecessary.
It seems that often times wi-fi networks I setup at NYGC are hard to connect to. The solution I believe is quite simple: Just change the wifi channel. It is possible that too many people in the area are using the same wireless channel (6, in this case) causing frequent failed connection to the visible/invisible wifi networks.
It is possible, in some occasions, when those out of good intention but under unjust means, obtain benefit for us and we take it justly. On the rest of the other occasions, we do not get ourselves involve at all whatsoever.
But when we take it, we remind ourselves not to follow their injustice. Their good intention is annulled.
It is just, for us, because what's done is done and there's no need to leave things to waste. It is crucial also that we do not hold dear to those benefits which are procured by others unjustly, despite their significant values held dearly by others. What we have received we keep them responsibly.
Are we to be grateful to them? Yes. Do we owe them anything? No, we shouldn't, nor do we need to make up our own repayment to them. How is this grateful them? It is not what they do that we are grateful, but what we receive that we are grateful of.
If there is a need to return a favor, there is no need to give one, for there is no favor owed. There was no lesson learned from them but from ourselves, that we be less self-involved. If we help anyone, it is based on our better judgment, not on any favor that was based on unjust means.

Chainfire SuperSU for root

The above files are used for rooting. ODIN & TWRP (find latest version with *.img.tar extension) are on desktop. Chainfire SuperSU is copied to phone as zip file. Use ODIN to load TWRP file with "PDA" button. Power off phone, unplug. Hold volume down while plugging usb cable to desktop. Volume up to continue after welcome screen, ODIN shows phone detected at COM#. Click start in ODIN. Phone will be flashed and rebooted. Turn phone off after reboot. Hold Volume Up & Down and then Power button (all 3 buttons) together, until power on (vibrate), release power button, TEAMWIN screen shows up, release all buttons, Click INSTALL button on phone, look for cm-SuperSU zip file, swip to confirm Flash, when "Successful" shows, click Reboot System button on phone. Done.
To remove those unnecessary AT&T files, use the app called "Titanium Backup * Root" which requires root access. In Settings of phone, turn on Developer Options, turn on USB Debugging, turn on (optional) Security>Unknown Sources. Grant root when asked. Go to Backup/Restore column, click on AT&T apps, click Uninstall button on top right.

It's just really isn't Driscoll's season lately. First it was the embarrassment at MacArthur's Strange Fire Conference (outside campus), now his new book "A Call to Resurgence" is accused of plagiarism (14 page of work without giving credit to Dr. Peter Jones, @9:44min end note #5 in Chapter 2, @11:00min pg. 185-189) by Mefferd on her show as she interviewed him.
Many have complained that Mefferd kept eying at the plagiarism even after Driscoll affirmed that he would check with his publisher. They failed to realize that had Driscoll not attempted to turn around and call Janet rude in telling him what to do, etc., she wouldn't have to keep at it wouldn't she?
Finally, the simpleton's exit strategy is to hang up on people after telling them he loves them.
According to Janet, if I didn't mishear, Driscoll's publicist called the show to ask for Driscoll to be on. This really takes the cake.
In this case, I am with the woman. Driscoll is no match for Mefferd.
On the side note, @13:12min Driscoll said "There is a difference between making a mistake and committing a sin", err...no. Did Christ make a mistake?
Lastly, reading Driscoll's open letter inviting MacArthur to his Resurgence conference, I find Driscoll insincere. He loves to decorate his introduction with signs of humility, love, before his true motive, hoping that some would be caught off guard. In this case, he seems to admit that "some" of the criticisms MacArthur had on him over all these years are right on and that he would repent. Which ones? He didn't say. What Driscoll did follow up with that is that he had not given any negative comments about MacArthur. Is Driscoll playing the fairness card at the wrong time or what?
Though only among the rich (about 2.4k in number in 2013) for now, due to tax reason, the rising emigration to Singapore, Hong Kong & Switzerland is a troubling thought, both for the States as well as the countries they move to, in causing economic chaos. Everyone for himself, how can it be good in any country?
But to say that this is "missing friends and family", it certainly does not effect me, whose friends and family are in another country. As for the Americans who are moving out, I'm sure they have been prepared to adapt. My first return to Asia convinced me of this.
Ultimately, it is how much do the Americans/British care about keeping their citizens, instead of finding scorn for those who left.
