The Children's Sunday School of CCCNY

It is sad that it has to come to this. They do not have people of their own bringing to teach.

Now they have to invite me, or rather, beg me, to take care of this.

This is what happens when churches don't care about rearing young children in the Gospel. This church is in danger of leaning towards the cult of liberalism, the next generation will likely show it. It lives in a fantasy of 4 (or more) generations, but it is only the first generation, and a dying one at that.

They have phDs, successful folks, and very long time members, but no God fearing ones.

I once asked a mentor of mine, what do we do with liberal churches in fellowship together? His response was Luke 5:37 No man puts new wine into old wineskins...

That has been a great impression in my memory.

This time is not like before, I am not affiliated with any of their ministries. Not any. Never was. However, I followed their rules, because I was serving from within. Now I am serving from outside. I have no problem if they claim me member of their church, for I am member of all church of God. One thing is clear, I have not pledge allegiance to CCCNY, therefore I do not have to be affiliated with them. Every church must take heed how it builds upon the foundation of Christ. I am not involved with that, because they promote moral more than Gospel. I pray they repent of it, for I have longed for fellowship with them.

Someone visiting that church once told me, "Ah, you go to Redeemer, so you have two homes now!", I smiled, thinking to myself, "Your church is my home too!". All those who love God and preach the Gospel are my fellowship.

So, in this situation, how should I lay the mercy God has shown me upon these little ones? In season, out of season, the Gospel must be preached immediately.

Since I am not associated with CCCNY, I can predict the opposition against me from this church will only grow stronger, should they maintain their liberal moralism goal.

I would not have bother. But an opportunity has presented itself. If Ravi Zacharias accepted the invitation by the Mormons for giving a sermon, how can I refused this. Though, I will not obscure heresy from orthodoxy as Zacharias did with the Mormons.

Am I good enough? No, which I why I always refuse first. There will be times I must take the initiative, but not now. So if they have to ask me, they have to admit they have no one better amongst themselves. I mean, come on, they even almost hired some stranger to teach their kids just because she has Columbia University degree in children related subjects while rejecting someone else who has a passion for preaching the Gospel but without any degree. How God's mercy still works here: Perhaps it has to do with fame or money that this heretic path failed.

"So you won't be using our materials", I was asked. A firm "No!" was my reply. "My method is unconventional/experimental", you'd have to be on crack if you don't know why you choose me. How could I? Before, I paid more attention to the materials/syllabus (to my disappointment) given me to teach than the one who passed them to me. Even the schedule was nonchalant. I can only hope I am given my promised time this time, as I will make short programs for each of the time frames I'm given. This way, I don't have to deal with their breaking of "be not many teachers" law also.

My program? It's all about the Gospel man. That's all I can do. As I said, I am not good enough. Let's just see how long they would "tolerate" me. Gospel will be preached regardless. Hopefully, all these kids will become preachers.

May God increase my love for these little children. That I offend not these little ones when I bring Thy instructions to their hearts. Amen.

Last Sunday's Sermon

Finally, it was Dr. Tim Keller. However, I was disappointed at his sermon. Though, it is still Gospel centered. Bisgrove's sermon in the previous week was much better, content-wise.

Keller broke down how to deal with truth into 3 categories: 1. hide, 2. too direct, 3. show truth (without hurting others). Obviously, he's promoting the 3rd kind. I should know by now this is typical of him. After all, he did say when he first started the church, perhaps regrettably, "My church will not be like other churches!".

I would regroup his always-must-be-3-category content into only 2:

1. hide the truth, 2. show the truth.

I'll put his #2 into #1. Because the hypocritical view of the truth generally hides the true practical truth. This way, I can live with 2 Corinthians 10:7, ...let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ's, even so are we Christ's.

iCloud Horror

iTunes attempt to promote iCloud on my system. Installing it took out important data from my Outlook (ie. contacts, calendar, etc.). Therefore the installation steps are very misleading. I thought I was carefully opting out the very problem I face. This kind of mistakes should have been long gone, and iCloud is still making them.

I ban iCloud.

Jim Cymbala

It is certain that the Brooklyn Tabernacle is of the charismatic denomination. Its pastor, Jim Cymbala has been criticized for the very problem all charismatics have.

If those were valid, it is no surprising, but I have no time to examine this yet.

Jewish Identity Crisis in America

Of course, a true Jew is a true servant of Christ. It declares the glory of the house of Jacob and everyone in it. Could this be the last stage of the Israelis' hardness?

Bikers in NYC

Not long ago, when I was driving, a group of about 500 bikers mostly on Harley Davidsons swarmed by me, directing me to shift lane for so they have a "straight" path.

It's okay to have a sort of moving slumber party on the streets, but to force attention from others or to own the streets, that is taking things too far.

The news below proves it. A group of bikers attacking an SUV for getting into an accident they themselves caused.
