Margaret Thatcher: Nothing Christian

At least not from what I read in the Christian Today article. Despite its claim.

Nothing about the Gospel in it. In other words, one can easily place the virtues mentioned in the article into another religion label.

The only thing done was the definition of Christian religion and that is a very vague one at best: "Sacrifice of Christ".

Hence, we have our liberals grown in the backyard.

Associate 合伙

I'd been troubled by not able to find a suitable terminology for associate in Chinese.

In the condition of one working together with others, but does not mean one associates with them (viz. A German Christian soldier who does not associate with Hitler but yet obeyed almost all of his commands), 合伙 seems the best choice.

The usual translation: 结交, 交往, etc. are sometimes elusive. Because under this circumstance, one is a member of the pertaining group, and not completely isolated from it.

Thus, 我与他们聚会,并不等于我与他们合伙。

I still like the English phrase better: I meet with them, but I do not associate myself with them.

I feel I am still missing a better term. So I shall put this under question category.

Google translator gives me: 我不赞同 (I do not associate myself with them)

Segregation still going on even in High School

In Georgia, blacks and whites teens are rallying together against the disgusting tradition of segregated prom, chiefly based on their long term (since elementary school) friendship with each other.

An admirable boldness from the young. However, I fear of its probable liberal origin. This should have been a battle for the Christians. If the Christians of the area kept silence, or worse, secret backing racism, which may not be too far from the truth, something bad is bound to happen, no matter who does what.

Then perhaps, it is time to call out the goats and for the lost sheep of Christ to be revealed.

Natural Constipation Remedies

http://www.leakygutcure.com/blog/symptoms/natural-constipation-remedies/

It should be no surprise that constipation is a major problem among those who suffer from Leaky Gut Syndrome. It is a common occurrence anytime that your digestive tract becomes dysfunctional. But the good news is that there are plenty of natural constipation remedies that can be very effective at helping you not only overcome constipation but to also help regulate your digestive tract and improve your health all at the same time. Please Note: If you suffer from diarrhea which is also very common with Leaky Gut Syndrome, much of this still applies to you.And most people seeking natural constipation remedies have been suffering from chronic constipation for many years. And this can have a significant impact on your health because if you are not removing your toxic waste then your body is reabsorbing it. You are also creating a breeding ground for bacterial infections, parasites, and Candida. And this is part of the process that is creating inflammation and holding you back from healing. If you study the lifestyle habits of many different native cultures around the world that are without the influence of all of the Leaky Gut Syndrome causes, you’ll find that they have perfect digestion and do not suffer from Leaky Gut or any of the degenerative diseases that are common among us today.  And under these conditions, it is commonly found that they have multiple bowel movements each day and typically one within 12 hours after every meal they eat.So if you’re not finding yourself moving your bowels at least one to two times per day then you need to pay special attention to these natural constipation remedies.

Test for Bowel Transit Time

It should also be noted that even if you are going one or more times per day, you can still be constipated. Constipation is also a factor of your transit time. So, if you eat a meal and it takes two or three days before that meal reaches your colon and is eliminated then you are still constipated. But you can easily test your transit time to ensure that it is in the 12 to 24 hour time frame which is considered normal.Just follow these instructions below before using any of the natural constipation remedies in order to get a baseline of your transit time so you can measure improvement. After your next bowel movement, you can either eat red beats or find an all natural food coloring and add it to your meal.Keep a lookout and see how long it takes before you notice the red coloring and note the number of hours betweenThe red coloring from the beats or food coloring will not be absorbed and will be noticeable in your stool.

Natural Constipation Remedies

There are plenty of natural constipation remedies out there but it only makes sense to start with the basics before you start adding fibers or other laxatives. These are probably the most common sources of constipation so they are the best place to begin.

Natural Constipation Remedies – Dehydration

Regardless of your level of health, the vast majority of constipated people in the world are chronically dehydrated. They drink all kinds of other liquids, many of which are diuretics and cause them to lose even more water.A general rule is to make sure that you are drinking a minimum of half your body weight (lbs.) in ounces of water every day. If you weigh 200 lbs. then you should be drinking at least 100 ounces of water daily.

Natural Constipation Remedies – Sodium Chloride

It’s very common to avoid salt like the plague today. It’s been linked to heart disease amongst other health issues. And while this is somewhat true for highly processed and toxic salts, there’s another side of the story that you need to know.We need salt in our diets in order to maintain the proper electrolyte ratios and to maintain our health. And most people need much more salt than they are getting. And one of the functions of salt is to help your body to better absorb and utilize water which also helps with dehydration. If your body can’t absorb the water you drink then it sure can’t use it to relieve constipation.

Natural Constipation Remedies – Your Diet

Your diet has a big influence over your bowels, transit time, and constipation. Processed foods are a common cause of constipation because they disrupt the entire digestive tract as well as being low in natural fiber and void of essential nutrients. They also promote dysbiosis which greatly affects constipation more so than most people realize.Food allergies are also something to take into consideration. A common symptom of food allergies is constipation so it’s best to determine and avoid the foods you are sensitive to.Your diet should be focused around foods in their natural forms that are not processed and how Mother Nature intended them to be eaten. While most people are stuck looking for a pill, powder, or miracle to fix their constipation, oftentimes the problem can be corrected with some simple lifestyle changes. So it’s important to rule out the obvious and put these natural constipation remedies to use before you jump ahead of yourself and introduce anything additional to your daily regime.

Mitzvah Tank: Pre-passover Parade

Last Thursday, I saw what looks like rented trailers (mitzvah tanks) crossing 26th Street on 6th Ave. They were escorted by police cars. It was a very very long line of trailers. They are covered with Jewish ads promoting their parade, which distributes Matzah (unleavened bread), Shabbat candles, etc. to local Jews. There were 63 "tanks" in total in NYC. Each trailer had a destination in the city.

The parade is to commemorate their famous late rabbi: Menachem Mendel Schneerson. Whom some consider to be the Messiah of the Jews, while other orthodox Jews abhor the idea. He has created a very firm Jewish community in New York City, especially in Brooklyn where he resided.

However, considering Jorel's Bar Mitzvah, I don't think some, if not most of the Jews take these things seriously.

Two kinds of Ministries

Building a ministry of God is not the same as building a ministry of people.

A ministry of people can be devoid of God. God is just a bystander.

Memorial Service

My wife and I had just attended Rev. Philip Lee Hui's memorial service.

Things went well, I was responsible for projector presentation. Instead of the church's, I use my own projector, which has higher resolution and brightness. Strangely enough, the projector somehow turned on by itself after presentation. Though I put a cover over it, it is still to bright for the speakers. Good thing someone put the device to the ground instead of leaving it on the table. I feel very bad about it. I should have unplugged it.

Many elderly members from 5 sister churches founded by the late Rev. Lee, came to the service, joint choir conducted by Jahja Ling.

The pastor from Hong Kong asked to have the same projector set up for his sermon tomorrow. That means we have to attend CCCNY tomorrow. I already had the decision in mind.

I had to ask Rev. Lin to confirm the situation. Very disappointingly, she asked me if I know anyone who could setup the projector, which I doubt there's none nor she knew no one, as other people have setup the projector before. I said, many people could do it (sounds like when she told we have plenty of teachers at church and need no Michael Liu). She replied, who?! I named a few, Charles, Jiang Hui, etc. Then she asked me to ask them to do it.

I took a quick thought and told her I've decided I'll do it.

This is the result when there is no vision. If they do not have any motivation for the future of a church. Or perhaps, a very very bad vision, what that is, I know not.

The reason I decided so, is because, firstly, it is not my responsibility to ask or train others to do things in CCCNY, not especially after I have stopped associating with their internal affairs.

It is sad, that they are so "in need" of people. Which brings to the second point, it is a better sacrifice. There is no need to sink to her level and argue about it. Whatever money she had given me (for other matters), should she need them returned, I have already told Nadia to be prepared to set a fair amount aside, just in case. But one thing I must stand firm, I do not associate with any affairs of hers regarding to preaching or teaching. A kind of grace I am still in learning.

Someone once said to me, women pastors cannot be great. I do not believe that, biblically speaking. I believe he was just frustrated from his bad experience. I fear his conclusion is permanent. However, the fall of many women pastors such as Serena Lin, is not because they are women. It is because of similar sin of pride even men in America commit.

I should get the laser pointer charged up as well

I saw Rev. Chung. He asked, I told him we go to Redeemer now.

Reason for Gay Marriage Supporters Increase

Looks like the prevalent reason is due to having a good friend who claims to be homosexual. This is seen in churches today commonly as well. When questioned, many pastors attempt to avoid the controversy.
