Got a call asking me to renew my May-Expired membership of The Metropolitan Museum.
Wasn't going to, but when the caller tried to promote the purpose of the call with the recent attraction "Andy Warhol" as if he's some treasured part of the MET, I immediately declined the offer.
To me, it is sad that though the MET is supposed to be a place of Art, it's fame comes from the classics. Leave the vain modern pieces to MoMart or something.
"WHAT" does one care is more important than "HOW" does one care.
To say that I am not homosexual but I believe homosexuals should be treated equal, is like saying:
I do not mix with other races but I believe racism should be stopped.
Since homosexual is not an identity but a practical characteristic such as temper, talkativeness, etc., it cannot be equated with identity of races such as whites, blacks, Asians, etc.

If some welcome not one of these, they do not welcome me, despite their enthusiasm toward me and however like-minded they claim themselves to be.
From facebook posting, I came across an article of a young widow commenting how she missed little things she had with her husband: quarrel, dirty socks everywhere, etc.
The easy response: There are more than 2 people in the whole world. Marriage is not a means to an end, it is a means to enjoy God.
Should it be obtained, it is nothing to be proud or congratulated about...One's merely following the law.
Do we say to someone paying taxes: Congratulations?
In Norway, one gets this hotel for 21 years for murder. Even my fantasy monastery doesn't look this good.
