Viscous: having high resistance to flow; gluey, sticky
I dreamt that the $50 dollar metrocard I bought from a black guy didn't work - used. (Though in reality I have checked and it was displayed Not Used).
So, the folder http://scholars.homeip.net/~tim/Hymns/ is for Hymns recorded.
And the folder http://scholars.homeip.net/~tim/BibleReading/ is for Scriptural readings recorded.
Added Hymn 367 Near the Cross. And Scriptural Reading Acts 1-3, Psalms 37-38.
Somehow it's not easy to be as syncrhonous as I want.
Also need to work on clarity.
As for scriptural reading, it is not easy for me to stay in character.
I wish I have the strongest critics in this. Perhaps I would pay for a good teacher in such field.
This will keep me focused on hymnals and scriptural reading with improvement.
Hymns are mostly from Hymns of Life, with criticisms, etc.
Scriptural reading using mainly KJV.
I should consider other languages as well.
Hymns of Life: 004 Glory Be to God
Can't sing really loud without getting complaints from neighbors.
I have done it slower and better annunciation. Though quite satisfactory with the quality of synchronization, there are still some tuning, coherence and clarity required.
Seeking God's word is the willingness to find out what God is saying and rejecting all other forms of interpretations for they are false.
Seeking the word of God is reading the scripture oneself to check the truth of a statement.
Seeking the word of God is a diligence.
Seeking the word of God is not self-satisfied emotional confidence.
Seeking the word is the Truth, willing to abide by the truth, be corrected by the truth and obey the giver of truth.
All, in all authority, under the scripture, the word of God.
Such is the real Theology.
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice...shame on me.
Though twice I met this, they are different people (I think).
They (black people on both occasions) look for people who's walking hastily on the streets of New York City, and they threw their glasses to the floor and accuse the rushing pedestrian they think they could fool.
Last evening was the second time. This time, instead of giving him $10 like the first time (which took me quite a while to start wondering if it had been a scheme), the conversations went like this:
I was running.
guy: Yo! Hey! (I thought I dropped something, slowed down, check my pockets, and turned around and ran to him to see what happened - I was really in a rush)
The guy picked up something and he said: Never mind...(We parted opposite directions)
At the junction while waiting for Walk sign to cross the street, he came back and tapped on my back, showing me his broken glasses.
guy: You see. My glasses are broken.
(I had began to suspect the crime when I saw him picked up something that looked like glasses but I couldn't see clearly at that time and even wondered if he had given up)
I said: Go get it fixed then.
guy: No, you broke it.
I said: No I didn't.
guy: You ran and knocked it out of my hand.
I said: No, I was really sure where I was and I didn't touch anyone and no one touched me.
guy: You gotta becareful man.
I said: No you're lying.
Walk sign On.
I said: I'm sorry...
guy interrupted: That's o.k.
I said: I just don't trust you.
I began running to meet my appointment.
Of course, there are many thoughts. This second guy seems tamer. The first had sort of an angry look on his face. It does teach me to be watchful and try not to walk too hastily. At the same time, it is a challenge to have to face the "angry" type. Courage and WISDOM.
Clientside problem in networking.
Solution: On main server (where Act! is installed), open Act! as administrator. Then go to Tools -> Database Maintenance, and Check Share database.
The driver for this "unknown" device is the Texas Instruments PCI smart card under Chipset section of Dell's support download site for D610.
Last week I took an opportunity to visit the space center since I heard some praising how well the show was.
Thus far, nothing supercedes the age old Passport to the Universe, narrated by Tom Hanks, not even Whoopi Goldberg's Journey to the Stars. Had it been available I would have bought the DVD.
I would say for Journey to the Stars, the narration and the plot and the effects aren't as pleasing as the other one.
