Biostar MCP6P-M2+ Motherboard makes screen auto-adjust from time to time, USB devices problem

Especially during some usb drive/software installation, it always flickered with auto setting on the monitor.

Finally got to solving this. Simply install the VGA driver from Biostar's site. I believe the previous driver was from Microsoft version of Nvidia.

At the same time, may have solved the USB devices connection problem by installing the SMBus and SMU drivers from the same site.

The deterioration of Christian Churches around the Globe

Evangelism is a command from Christ our Lord to everyone who professes Christian faith. It is not a duty within the offices of pastors, preachers and teachers alone.

Some 400 years ago, everyone was assumed Christian, as long as they were brought up in the Western culture or baptized when they were babies.

Now, people were assumed Christians, as long as they stay in the church services or attend/support church activities.

Where is the preaching of the Gospel? Where is the study of God's word? Where is the true conversion from a cursed sinner to a sanctified saint?

On Economy and Inflation

It is the law of God that we multiply on Earth.

Naturally, there will be competition in economy.

Logically, inflation shouldn't be.

Nonetheless, it is, resulting in the crisis of economy.

With competition, there are those who are willing to choose the immoral path. The only way for a human to deal with another human with immorality, is to have ulterior motives, even to a point, the actor has convinced himself of his own act.

If a vendor charges less than the others, he will be a big target for scrutable scandals if his business outgrows others'. While others exalt themselves with such attack to satisfy their jealousy, they publicly call it "justice".

It is a sinful concept to expect a chronological raise in salary, disregarding skills.

It is the balance of the natural law of God, that jobs are offered to those who are willing to be paid less than their less laborious neighbors to learn humility and improve discipline. Nevertheless, instead of admiring the diligence in others, it is man's sinful nature to be creative with the laws in order to ensure that their salary will always increase and that all jobs are restricted only to their kinds. Their wickedness, is like poison to the natural order of system set by God.

Last but not least, we lament upon the wickedness of man and do nothing about it. Our irresponsibility and unrepentant hearts are despicable unto God, everytime we cash in our checks.

TOEFL Testing Center

I just had a dream. It was concerning a Saturday (I think) TOEFL Test.

It somehow began as I was finishing the test. Or at least that's as far as I could remember.

But it seems that of all the candidates, only one proper confidentiality form was handed to me by one of the staff (Tomoko, I think. I think I see her because she's probably the most responsible woman there, eventhough she hasn't gone through the process of becoming an ETS staff yet). While the rest of the "forms" (underneath the proper one) were hand written and signed on lined papers. As if no one knew where or how the get the confidentiality forms, and seems that that's how they were instructed to deal.

I immediately stopped the candidates from leaving and asked them to wait for me to print out the real confidentiality forms (so rush and hurry that I forgot I could actually send the one who filled out the proper form home).

Then I tried one staff's computer, the staff seems to be one of my high school 2A2 classmate, don't remember his name but the face's really familiar. Odd that I didn't even see the oddness in the dream. Loaded the browser, thought for a while, entered ets.org but was some chinese comic page (perhaps it has to do with the fact that this classmate just somehow popped into my dream for reasons beyond me right now) that came up. Concluded that the computer was virus infected. Thinking with frustration, "why don't they report this to me?!".

And it also occurred to me that they have been left, somehow, to initiate the test on their own without me, which is a good thing if all goes well and I could do other things. After switching computer, I still couldn't print it, I don't remember why now. As it is also the end of the day, staffs were leaving for home. I woke up under all the frustrations.

I believe if you think too much in a dream (I'm sure this is a non-lucid one), you could just wake up.

I do know that working with this one staff who doesn't even speak or understand English besides a vocabulary of perhaps 10 verbs and nouns, yet always pretends or says he understood, is like working with a gorilla version of Gilligan on Gilligan's Island. Somehow, I don't recall much of his face in the dream, very vague.

Default Printer Kept Changing

Apparently, this issue is caused by remote desktop connection. Resulting in the annoying wrong default printer printing on print. Thanks to this article.

The Oblivion of the Mind

It seems to be surrounded by the fact that the over love of humanism shall cause chaos.

Take the towel of Babel for the initial example. Then we have the pursue of world peace by materialists and the so called "E.Q." social behavior praise that happened in the 80s in Northern America.

All these result in some sort of distrust, chaos and even the praise of hypocrisy.

At the same time, while awaking some to the state of Truth, the rate of those self-righteous mind-my-own-business-ignore-the-rest aristocratic hypocritical fools is also rising.

While some blame the weakness of memory to old age, I say the more lies and hypocrisy we tolerate, the worse the state of the precious God created mind in our heads will become.

Lord, set Thy plumbline in the midst of mine heart, that I may not sway from Thee and fear none but Thee alone. Amen.

Second TOEFL Test Administered

Since it's holiday (Columbus day long weekend), there's only two staffs working, for TOEFL exams. This is the second time, it is better, less nervous for me, as the supervisor/admin of the test center.

I bet I could make it start and end more smoothly next time. Keep things simple.

Problems? Admin Station status showed one candidate: Computer Down, another: Launch request. However, these two candidates seems to finsh the test fine without problems and complaints. Well that's the mystery. The only problem this time is that one examinee felt ill half way and wished to stop and leave. Had to submit a CPR for this, of course. I just hoped there's going to be one time that all 13 candidates go through the whole test smoothly, perfectly.

After that, rush to Hill Crest Queens library from Manhattan to tutor a high school student from church. An hour late. Bad, very bad. Kept forgetting the subways and trains schedules are always messy on weekends. I think I should reschedule this from 3pm to 4pm next time.

Arrived home, spent roughly 3 hours catching up the church's Bible Reading Plan emails with the new scans of all the rest of 66 books summary I have finally prepared earlier. The 1 Year group still needs a few more sends to catch up. Though I'm not a big fan of this Bible Reading plan, I should make it as perfect as possible within the responsibility given me. Boy, am I far from Joseph.

Find Me a Prostitute

It is both interesting and entertaining watching the changing faces upon those who love to ask me to marry when I said: Find me a prostitute, then I will consider.

These hypocrites, and they thought they could teach others about "judging others".

Obama Received Nobel Peace Prize

Could the Norwegians be any more hasty? Perhaps a little too early? Or is it just a Bush slapping revenge thing?

Perhaps it is an "encouragement", instead of a compliment.

Children Ministry Conflicting with Sunday Service Schedule

Apparently, my church is not the only one. Yet, this article noted the issue.

I do not believe taking turns is the solution, neither is having a weekday schedules etc.

Listening to recording is just like a virtual worship service.

I believe, many failures primarily come from the qualification of teachers/leaders. No one cares now about God's Calling in this matter, for they have indulged in the motto: "Everyone can be a leader", "You can do it!".

Perhaps it isn't too inconceivable to train children to behave in the "adult" Sunday Service. Of course, this means the pastors or preachers on the pulpit must be some miracle workers...but then again, which TRUE man of God isn't?

I will make this entry in the Questions category, for I myself need further research into this topic.
