Muslim Advancing

I wonder, why the halt? The mustlims could have used some better music.

Is that a wait?

Now, the Muslims are growing more than Christians in the world.

The Christians had great musics, Handel's Messiah, Israel in Egypt, Bach's, etc. But now, we just prefer to flow with the pop culture, abandoning our earthly inheritance.

It is my fear that when the christians have entirely thrown away their valued inheritance, and the muslims start to claim what once was of the christians theirs.

Nonetheless, God's plan and promise, are unchanging, eternal and faithful. May God have mercy on us all.

Paradox of Temperance

It is much wise to study first with the minimal resources, before investing more.

It is also wiser to invest in quality resources as much as possible, rather than handicapping oneself with cheap and ineffective resources.

When one has learned to see this as paradox, the solution is profitable.

Thorough Lecture Attendant

When I was in Dr. Tong's Seminary, I bought the Audio CDs of all the lectures as well. Not because I want some kind of proof or am obsessed about the materials, but because Dr. Tong's lectures were so intensive that I couldn't grasp all of them by just attending it. I had to have some kind of recording. Writing notes would waste the time and money of attending. Because when I attended, I wanted to see his character, expressions, in every lectures, observing his every speech, visual expressions, etc. I have long studied these human behaviors to know certain things most people would normally ignore, or misinterpret.

It is to my understanding that the benefit of self-study in certain things actually does give one insight to certain things that is not publicly available. When such insights are shared, the academy is advanced. However, if such insights are false, they are usually coming out of pride, and should be discussed rather than being shared as some kind of achievement.

So by just observing Dr. Tong's lectures, there are too much to absorb. Due to the fact that he has truly put his entire life, effort and energy to glorify God, and therefore God has blessed him with all the experiences, knowledge and wisdom to share with us.

Evolution

Macro-Evolution seems to be something many have considered to be true. Promoting it as education. Sounds like the time when they believed the Earth was flat and the Earth is the center of the universe...[@more@]

Benny Hinn's Books

I just borrowed a few of Benny's books from the library today as they have been held for a while. Now that I have it, it's both interesting and sad to see how the pentacostal movement has become.[@more@]

Patents

Patents are for the spoilts.

If you are that gifted? why the assurance?

I'm not saying it is wrong to have patents. But if you have it and not able to make people glorify God (not just glorifying God yourself), you have not fully excercised the responsibilities God has given you.

Cingular Wireless

Cingular has one of the worst service coverage in my area. Network busy, no signals. Ever since T-Mobile's open network gone private, cingular has been a pain.[@more@]
