Semper Reformanda: Always Reforming
It is unfortunate, that Redeemer doesn't have a choir like most other evangelical churches. They have all kinds of volunteers but not for the main choir. All major musical roles are for professionals (for hire with pay). As far as I know.
While professionals are definitely a major plus, I believe it is an excuse to call it an outreach to musicians (particularly non-believers) in the neighborhood. Not that one would not see conversions in this manner, but though one is saved (totally God's doing alone), the other might have been cursed.
If there is a way to volunteer for choir, on a frequent basis, it would have been so easy to leave CCCNY choir next year.
I do not want to see Nadia without a choir. I love to see her singing, just seeing, not hearing, is joy to my heart already.
It is an unfortunate thing the way CCCNY choir is handled as well.
I consider them both non-disconnected. Not only so, I also put philosophy in theology.
To make it short, I say many arguments noted recently, (especially on figures like Kant, Barth, etc. opponents and proponents in the liberal, neo-orthodox circles, sometimes with the conservative, reformed ones), with their anologies and dialectics, are many times a hold of certain miniscule of truths.
Disagreements arise when they attempt to expand and extrapolate the truths in their elaboration. If they are not thorough, careful, they give opportunities to all kinds of attacks that are elusive in their right due to the carelessness of the elaboration.
It is like finding decimals of decimals within the infinite divisions between 1 and 2. Trouble arises when one is lost in the deepest depth one could fathom wholly.
Korean Fencer Shin-A-Lam lost her game during the Olympic to German opponent in the very last second, literally, after several deuces.
It may have been her lack of aggressiveness in the end, but the ridiculously long second was indeed very unfair.
With the badminton controversy, some rightly call Britain the worst Olympic host in history.
The badminton, knowing how things have become, I've learned that the best choice to face this situation, as a player, if history ever repeats itself again, is to just admit defeat in the first round right away. Before the game begins, after warning the host of the unfair regulation, should they not do anything about it.
Pretending to play along in any unfair circumstances is always bad, unless you have every permutation covered.
As for the fencing, now that is a tough one.
Had I keep fighting my opponent for every extra seconds after each round, just to make sure I don't stand to lose in any technical glitch, might turn a friendly game into a real battle. I doubt I would want that.
My conclusion therefore, is to obtain an incredibly high skill of defense in addition to attack. Being highly aware of the clock could also be a plus. That should the last second delayed without a doubt, I either fight on or raise my sword indicating timeout.
No output video means I cannot see my modified preview before processing.
This is in Divx 6.9.2 Codec (2 logical CPUs) compression mode with mp3 128kbit/s 44,100hz under audio full processing mode compression.
I supposed this is a bug.
Solution: click on the output play button first (no video showing, but audio works). Then go to options and check output video and input video as well (or F10 and F9).
Circulating around, is this accusation of poor sportsmanship by the badminton teams from South Korea, China and Indonesia women's category. Because of losing on purpose in order to gain advantage at playing with weaker opponents, I fail to see how this is cheating. There is a cheat, definitely and it is not by the players. The only cheat I find is by the organizers of the game. By whichever genius that made those rules and roster. Causing players to be disqualified for reaching their goal by abiding by the rules.
They have no shame by blaming they incompetence on the players.
John Calvin, in his sermons on the book of Job:
When we be set at the table to drink and to eat, let us pray unto God, beseeching him of his gracious goodness, to keep us in such sobriety, that being nourished by his gifts, we may be the better disposed to serve him: so as our meats may not serve to overcharge us, but to sustain us, and to give us strength, that we may be the better able to occupy ourselves in the service of our God.
And that he will grant us the grace so to pass through these corruptible things, as we may always labor for the heavenly life, whereunto he calleth us by his word. For God maintaineth us not in this world to live for a day, or for ten, or for fifty years: but to the intent we should come to the said heavenly glory.

Even Kaspersky Rescue disc cannot help. But at least now I have the disc for future aid.
Error message: "windows has encountered a critical problem and will restart..."
And before I know it, my vista ultimate 32bit laptop shut down. Not even safe-mode could help.
Judging from anti-virus (Malwarebytes & Miscrosoft Essential Security) info, I figure it was the file services.exe in windows\system32.
Renaming the file would only cause reboot before windows screen.
So the solution is: I copied the file from my other vista box to flash drive. Loaded the Vista disc in laptop in Repair mode. Went into msdos, copied the services.exe file from flash drive to laptop. Now everything seems to work.

Many fellowships these days in developed countries are Christian labelled, not Christian flavored.
Given a trip to a cinema or an hour of Bible reading, which would they prefer?
