Chapter one talks about finding joy in ministry.
"Do not make it your job in life to provide scope for his greater sanctification. pg. 16" is a loud warning to many. I think it is well stated. Though, I wouldn't put it with the verse Heb 13:17. Because I believe the verse calls for a submissive heart, not a non-judgmental one, which I think putting these two statements together might imply. Do not make it our job in life for someone's sanctification is due to the fact that we are not third party observer and we rather play the role of pastor ourselves as example, when we think if we have any job of contributing to one's sanctification.
One thing obvious about the authors of the book is that they permit not female pastors. Not mentioned directly, but the use of "brothers", "he", etc. in reference to pastor at all times is plain.
