Movie Project - In the Beginning

The first 7 days...a rather good theme to go with is the one from Dragonheart. But I am unsure of its eternal quality.[@more@]

Perseverance

Perhaps what is better than perseverance is having the right faith.[@more@]

Free Internet From the Toilet?

http://www.google.com/tisp/

Is this for real? Wouldn't even fiber optics lines clog draining system? Otherwise, it would be rather impressive.

Air Purifier

My landlord likes to smoke. Perhaps an Air Purifier might help. Research needed.

Thou Shalt Not Judge

This is so true that I can't stress enough:

That those who like to tell others not to judge, are most likely the ones who like to judge others the most.

Save America

It is my believe that no empire on Earth reigns forever. The Roman Empire has passed, the Greek, the Egyptian, now Britain is just a name which its Queen's authority is merely in paper, not in a practical sense. And after having around 200 years of history, America's society has gradually fallen into pride and ignorance.

No nation can stand forever.  Why? Simply...God is in charge.

Despite great academic achievements in the past, the American Government has discouraged student immigrants with a lot less financial support, scholarships, employments, etc. Perhaps from federal budget point of view, it is understandable.

However, by failing to stop the promotion of discrimination as a result of its new approach to "protect" its own American-born citizen, many high educated and intelligent immigrants have left the country for better opportunity. Nevertheless, there are few Americans in power, most of whom were formally immigrants, sensed the threat of America's future and "prayed" for national reformation.

My job in this country is to inspire God's children here in America to be prepared for the battle to come. After that, it is time to be where I'm truly "prepared" for, and if God willing, come back to save America with the seeds sown elsewhere.

If there is pride, then it must be tamed.
If there is no pride, then rejoice for the glory of God shining from elsewhere and not be jealous.

Be ready, a war is coming.

Honoring Promises

It is our human corruption that we often fail to honor the promises we made. I'm talking especially the minor, least important promises. The ones we would "reason" as jokes when we realized that we've failed to keep them.

I believe the very young ones would think otherwise.

There was a student of Confucius named ZengZi  (曾子), one day his wife was going out, their son wished to follow and cried. She told him if he'd stay and wait for her, she would prepare a delicious pork feast for him. The child believed her. When she returned, she saw ZengZi sharpening a knife preparing to kill the pig, immediately she rushed to him and stopped him saying, I was only kidding around. ZengZi replied seriously, how can we lie to little children? If we're unreliable, he will not listen to us anymore in the future.

I remember I read that story years ago, it stuck in my head since. It is remarkable even today, many would think if the promise is "not too important", they have the right to break it.

I supposed if one is trying to be funny and joke around, he better make it clear eventually before too late. If he "thought" he was clear enough on joking about promises or any seeming truth,  and made others paid the price, then he is still responsible even if he didn't know that others weren't aware that he was merely joking.

ALL Promises must be honored. We must be responsible for everything we do.

Escaping Controversies is not a Good Thing for the Church

The Church is to be the light and salt to the world. Escaping controversial topics hoping for an "alternative" peaceful solution is merely a dream. Not practical.

Not all silent peacefulness is good. If a conflict arises and not being dealt with, not being discerned whether it is relatively or absolutely righteous before God, just hoping as if it never happen, then, this is how sinful matter can get in, "silently" in this case. In the end, even members of churches would believe the wrong as right. When this seed of sin has grown, even ignorance is futile to the cowards.
