The Slow CCCNY may yet be hopeful

Now that Rev. Lin finally asked me to send them youtube link to Dr. Tong's Roman series for their Adult Sunday School Class, instead of burning and bringing DVD copies to the church, I'm slightly impressed. I've been waiting for this for a long...far too long time. I've given hints about that but had been ignored.

Whether this is out of a desire to be better or out of negative jealousy, I'm certainly better off. God has blessed me well.

Now, let's see how Rev. Lin who seemed to want me to teach this and that, is really serious about it. Or was it just to keep me from leaving the church.

FOGO De Chao, 2nd Trip

Great services, always.
I don't usually rate American restaurants, really don't care. But this Brazilian Restaurant on 53rd not only offers All-You-Can-Eat, great service, it also has great quality food.

It's considered one of the very expensive restaurants, ranging from $30-$60.

NYGC ate here the last Christmas party and we each received a $25 gift card that expires on 3/1, which was why I took the last minute opportunity today.

This time, "no meat" meaning no steaks, which was great, but too expensive. Their feature is the Market Table:

Fogo De Chao, $25 gift card, last day

Everything is unlimited all you can eat: features are smoked salmon, Italian style salami, pepperoni, Prosciutto, types of cheese, fruits, salad, etc.

With beans and soup on the side. They also provide unlimited cheese breads for starter, fried banana/plantain & mash.

FOGO De Chao, $25 gift card, last day

FOGO De Chao, $25 gift card, last day

Fogo $25 gift card, last day

Price is definitely steep. But with my gift card, I only paid $5.39 + $6.61 Tips for a $30 priced meal.

1Timothy 1:4 (Against fantasies) The stewardship from God that is by faith

1Timothy 1:4 nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies, which promote speculations rather than the stewardship from God that is by faith.

When thinking movies and tv shows and cool comics...remember this verse. Devote not to myths and useless connections, rather devote to the stewardship that is from God by faith.

Free Web Conference Hosting with Screen Sharing

https://zoom.us is pretty cool! Because it's free unlimited (40 minute limit per meeting if 3-50 participants).

I came across this at MeetUp and it works really well. One thing with video streaming via Cloud is you need an expensive server/media stream service. Zoom is definitely a good deal for now.

"How Excellent" - by Brooklyn Tabernacle

Finally, after waited for one week, they posted their last week's worship service online in the WebCast:

https://www.brooklyntabernacle.org/media/webcast

Under Sunday February 25, 2018 (For the service of 2/18/2018)

The song I loved is in the time frame 21:50 - 28:20, titled "How Excellent" - is Your Name. It appears to be a black gospel favorite. Originating from, it would appear, an older hymn: O Lord, Our Lord, How Excellent.

Here's a lesser quality of the same from an earlier time:

Since when was a gospel choir such as Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir interested in counterpoint?
