When holy anger started it must be watched so as to be restrained when it is not needed, even when crossing the line.
One way to test this is to realize that if it was because we were successfully tricked by others and that we failed to correct them at the instant that caused our fire to prolong sinfully.
We should rather admit to ourselves that we were not being prudent enough in the beginning and pray to repent of that.
