Infant baptism = Golden Calf of the Reformation?

In his Ten Indictment sermon, Paul Washer called infant baptism as the golden calf of the reformed churches.

Obviously, I disagree. But instead of putting this entry under Questions category, I shall put it in project. So I can write something longer on this.

CCCNY Third generation?

It's been said by one, once too often, that our church is third generation church or has survived 3 generations.

As far as I can tell, it's a first & third generation church. Where is the second generation? Many third generation's parents come not from the first generation, because the first generation's children either become apostates or 'released' to more attractive churches.

Deserters of the Gospel have nothing to be joyful about

Either one re-recognize his true divine calling and abandon his false ones, or, repent his of his cowardice from his true calling.

There are many in the West, especially from America, who go to this mission trips or that church aid. If they dare to say it's for the purpose of the Gospel, then they should know those countries are dangerous and that they are taking the place of those who are going willing to give their lives out of love. Not so that when imprisoned, they await for their government's help to release them.

Not long ago, it was said that Eric Liddell, a Scottish Christian missionary to China, gave his place to a pregnant woman in the camp during a prisoner exchange deal made between Churchill of the British and the Japanese.

Now this is someone I can say is someone who loves the people for the sake of the Gospel!

Immigrant Jobs go to Prisoners as Hispanic fled Alabama

This week must be some funny news week.

Irony for the republican oriented USATODAY, so funny it has to report anyway.

And they thought the jobs would go to some 'honest' citizens...Ahahaha!

Okay, I have to stop laughing at dumb confederates or I'll become just as dumb.

Giving Alms to Muslims

This dialogue is a manisfestation of my thoughts upon a true event.

A: What you gave away some $24 to beggars?

B: Aye. Two of them. Both ladies, wearing muslim costumes.

C: Costumes?

B: Yes. Just like the tribal tattoo of the Jews with their circumcission. While going to my lunch at an Indian-muslim restaurant, some 50 muslims were standing outside on this Friday 10/07/2011 at 1:33pm (finishing at around 1:40pm). They were all lined up in rows on the pedestrian facing what is apparently North in front of a small mosque next to the restaurant. They took up about 2/5 of the block. I had saw a young muslim lady with a cane standing on the street holding a brown paperbag asking for money. I had thought, let me finish my lunch first. When I saw her after my meal, I gave her $2. Soon, another muslim lady came, I gave $1, she kept following me saying what seems to be 'please, please', another $1 and finally she left me in peace after I threw in $20, thanking me saying "Allah bless you, allah bless you".

A: How did you feel?

B: Regret. I noticed many of their 'muslim' brethren ignored them. But I felt guilty nonetheless.

C: How so?

A: Because of the $24?

B: No. Not because of the $20 I just dumped. But because in the midst of all hast, I didn't preach to her. Sure, I've given to the poor but this time, I failed.

C: Were you afraid because you were among islamic crowd?

B: Maybe. But I really wouldn't care. I could have spoken.

A: What would you have said?

B: While giving, I could say or contradict them saying: Jesus loves you. That's a start. Instead of trying to justify myself that I'm Chinese and therefore good enough to stand out that way among the middle easterners and black muslims. I'm sure there are more things I could say for the great commission.

C: Perhaps next time then.

B: Yes. Perhaps so. I might just go there for the purpose of this evangelization. Preparing $5 bills, not $20, or I would go broke if it becomes a habit. I hope the one I gave $22 shares with the other whom I gave $2.

A: So, this has become your battleground.

C: Quite insignificant one, but might be dangerous though.

B: My Lord is with me. Let the battle begins!

10/07/2011 Friday 1:33pm.
29th Street & 6th Ave.
Muslims praying facing north. I took this while eating at the restaurant.

Were they all bowing down to me? Let's see if I could take the picture from outside next time. It was a little too rush today.

CCGCLI and I (Summary)

A good thing about keeping a journal is that I can reflect my past without memory lost.

I can grow in such a way in much areas.

I shall  make it short.

This summary should do well in all defenses that I had possibly faced:

I put my thoughts only in my journal not for hiding for I have already confronted the opponents in question directly. It is not for gossip. Therefore, I do not distribute or publish my entries. It is for me to know and for others to find out. If they don't like it, the solution is easy: Don't read them.

This journal is online because it is convenient and I have nothing to hide. I do not act one way on the surface while secretly think the opposite in my heart. I think this is a Christian's homework.

Now onto my former church CCGCLI. Do I love her? I sure do. Especially when one of my brother in Christ re-visited the church a couple of months ago from Colorado, I felt I was re-connected to an old home looking at the photos he took.

Why did I leave CCGCLI? Because the leadership's corruption is revealed and most importantly, they say but do not truly do the great commission. I have proven this. Their true desire is to stay childish and praise each other to show off their social skills. Other than making social networks for their emotional needs, they are not concerned about the souls of others. And they desire to make more like them.

They, are simply the retreated pastor Serena Lin and John Chen who had assumed leadership roles in one way or another. Unless they have repented now, which I sincerely hope so, it would be a pity, with such enthusiasm, such energy, that they cannot be in submission to Christ our Lord.

If any should have problem with my harsh comments, they should know, if there is any harm done to me, I shall be as a lamb; but if there is harm done to others, especially within the church (in this case: the dethroning of 2 ordained pastors consecutively), I will be as a lion and strike down the hypocrites. Thus, should any have a problem with this, it is better that one asks oneself as to why is one supporting such irreverence towards ordinations in God's name and such lack of love towards these 2 brothers (Rev. Chen Chi & the late Rev. David Chen) in our Lord, before one dares to judge, even secretly, of my observations. Lest I will have to pull out the sword yet again in defense of the victims.

Thus ends my summary of my former church, CCGCLI. May God bless those still at CCGCLI who are striving for His glory in the aftermath of this. And may God teach me to love them more. Amen.

Brigham Young University made World Record Electronic Car

Got to give it to the Mormons for this. If I were not mistaken, they've done quite a few note worthy achievements.

I relate them to any natural glory of men of course. Which is different from J.S. Bach's SDG.
