Chocolate Chip Cookie Milk Shots

Chocolate Chip Cookie Milk 'Shots' Arrive Friday Afternoon.

Smorgasburg's Ramen Burger was something of a kind. I wouldn't be too enthusiastic about it (I think it's the lack of the broth), but the indoor flea market was a hidden paradise, somewhat like when I first discovered Chelsea Market.

A Willingness to be Reproved - Psalms 141:5

Psa 141:5  Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.

Psa 141:5  任凭义人击打我,这算为仁慈;任凭他责备我,这算为头上的膏油;我的头不要躲闪。正在他们行恶的时候,我仍要祈祷。

Ramen Lab Coming to NYC in April 2014

Learn how to make Ramen.

The Ramen Girl (2008), Tampopo (1985), Smorgasburg's Ramen Burger (We ate it today, much smaller than I expected, $8, $10, $12 pricing for one small ramen "bread" burger, I liked the creativity, tasted good, Nadia loved it, we bought for Willy and the Om/Tante Pras couple), everything Ramen recently.

I bought 麺汁 (めんつゆ Mentsuyu) but ended up making simple Shoba noodle.

Outlook 2007: The target principal name is incorrect

Error message:

The server you are connecting to is using a security certificate that could not be verified.
The target principal name is incorrect.
[View Certificate]
Do you want to continue using this server?

Cause: Outlook 2007 cannot read more than one line of the Details section (subject alternative names...) DNS. Usually this involve Office365 account. CUNY City College in my case.

Solution: Thanks to the linked site, just upgrade Outlook 2007 to SP 2 or 3. SP3 in my case. Solved. Too many dummy solutions out there on the web, bunch of security paranoid freaks.

Choosing a Church

Part 1:

Practice extreme zero tolerance to any hindrance of the Gospel. This way, it helps one clearly discern much more than just what the church's affiliation title says. This is not the say that someone who is afraid or doesn't wish to speak of the Gospel is hindering the great commission. That is just a personal issue, not an ecclesiastic one, patient solution is hopeful.

However, if there is no zeal for fellowshipping with those who love the Gospel, those who are inquiring about the gospel, that is a hindrance. I need not mention about forbidding or discouraging others from the Gospel.

First of all, the Gospel must be firmly and clearly defined. It is not about finding good people into the church. It is not about socializing. I have to mentioned these because that is what most if not all churches (particularly immigrant churches) fall trap to. Even that is not the chief problem. The chief cause of this is the denial of such crime. Denial because everyone has the textbook version of the Gospel and it seems that that is enough with the Gospel.

Secondly, if there

Error Opening Microsoft Office Documents the First time

But opens fine the second time. In MS Word 2007, the error message is "Windows cannot find....docx....Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again." After that, the word document can be reopened.

Solution: Remove the COM Add-In that is interfering the process. "Win Zip Courier" was the culprit for others, but in my case, I think it is either Inknote or YouDao.

When COM Add-in cannot be removed due to message: "This add-in is installed for all users on this computer, and can only be connected or disconnected by an administrator." Open WINWORD.EXE in administrator mode.

Soundbite response to old question: When I was asked what does immigration status have to do with...

A pastor once asked me what does immigration status have to do with that when I complained about how U.S. citizens would look bad if immigrants are doing more of God's works, seminary studies, etc. in this country. At that time I was a bit flabbergasted by the stupidity of the question to respond.

Now upon reflection, a quick and easy soundbite response would be:

Let me ask you something, between the children of a house owner and the house guests, who are more responsible for the house's cleanliness?

The Philosophy of Market Sales in Copy Machines

I was asked to cut down one of the two machines. The sales rep./manager Vivek counted that the volume of our printouts requires at least two machines. Obviously, Vivek sought a win win situation. Of course, in doing some, sometimes you have to treat the clients dumber than you, like not knowing how many papers they use.

In the past due to complicated lifestyles, I have more hostile reaction. Now, I shall attempt with soundbite response:

It is not a matter of what they want to print.

The relation between pharisees and liberals

Be watchful and stand firm on criticism against others, while maintaining an honest welcoming and kind heart to others. Let the others instill hatred, hostility and false accusations to their own justified satisfaction, but never become them in such.

To deny this, is either legalistic or liberal. For the legalists cannot criticize people whom they welcome; while the liberals cannot welcome those whom they criticize.

Examining Theory of Evolution

With all the buzzes on evolutionary discoveries, I shall start a thread that deals with it.

So that I could keep track of datings they love to keep changing and call that science. Not that they don't admit it, but that I would have enough facts to be eloquent about it.

On the note of "improving" dating ancient rocks/artifacts, it is not the change that is the problem, it is the attitude towards having the wrong answer earlier that matters.

Starting with this:

Oldest rock on Earth found in Australia. (4.374 Bil years)
